August 24, 1991 - Cologne, Germany Nirvana performs in Tanzbrunnen (Monsters Of Spex) The headlining bands cut their sets short so Nirvana, who missed their performance slot after supposedly getting caught in traffic and/or at customs, could squeeze in a 30-minute set. However, according to the band's former agent, the band intentionally showed up late so they wouldn't have to play so early in the day.. Nirvana played using Rausch's equipment, resulting in Kurt and Krist playing on the opposite sides of the stage as usual. August 23, 1991 - Reading, England. Nirvana performs at the Reading Festival, Little John's Farm. Former Vaselines lead singer Eugene Kelly sang with Kurt on "Molly's Lips." Krist's bass strap broke during "Negative Creep", so part of the song was played without bass. The band jammed on "The End" by The Doors. 32:38 The band played an abbreviated version of "Endless, Nameless" followed by Kurt diving into Dave's drum set, which resulted in Kurt dislocating his shoulder. August 19, 1990 - San Diego, CA, US Nirvana performs at The Casbah. The band played a short jam on Iggy Pop's "TV Eye". "Lithium" deteriorated during the second chorus, so the band cut the song short. "Been A Son" deteriorated into jamming toward the end of the song. Krist jammed on the Melvins' "Eye Flys". Krist briefly took over vocals on "Spank Thru" when Kurt's guitar cut out. Kurt only partially sang "Negative Creep", performing most of the song without vocals.
