It now markets itself as the responsible lab. One bookseller told 404 Media his inventory is full of rare, foreign-language and low-circulation books, meaning that if they are destroyed in the process of becoming training data, they will be even harder to obtain. Second-hand booksellers across Europe are sounding the alarm, because rare books are being destroyed. They have received random lists of thousands of titles. Books too obscure to resell at a profit. Requests arriving overnight from companies nobody in the trade has heard of. One email came from "Nataly" at 2077AI, a Singapore company. Attached: 3,000 English titles grouped by ISBN. A 1999 geomechanics monograph. A 2018 study of laser shock peening on ceramics. A 2021 academic book on Irish folk tales. A German dealer watched the orders arrive every night between 3am and 5am. Canadian company Zoom Books, buying systematically, titles with nothing in common. Zoom told Swiss broadcaster SRF that this is a regular recycling and trading model.

A 19 year old shipped a startup from their bedroom... Then I show some simple AI tool to a mate from my small hometown and they react like I've just shown them fire for the first time. They had no idea any of this existed. And that's most people. Most people on earth have absolutely no idea what AI can do right now. They haven't tried it. They haven't seen it. They don't know that you can talk to a computer and have it reason, write, build, and think alongside you. The average person's understanding of AI is still "that thing that makes weird pictures" or "the robot that writes essays for students." They have no concept of agents, automations, coding assistants, or anything close to what's actually happening. 82% of American businesses still aren't using AI for anything. Only 4% have mature AI capabilities. 78% of executives say it's moving too fast for their teams to keep up. So when people ask me "how do I get into AI" or "how do I catch up" - the answer is almost laughably simple. Pay for one AI tool. Use it every day for a month. Read one book about it. Watch one long explainer video. That's enough to put you in the top 1% of AI knowledge on planet earth. If you're here, and you actually use a coding scaffold, play with harnesses, make LoRAs, that's rarer than 1 in 10,000.

We are taking a physical approach to safety mechanisms with no ambiguity. Fail-on air brakes and pin locks will render the robot immobile if system air pressure is lost. Shared reservoirs in the chest plate and body can be pierced by projectile or sharp instrument to instantly stop the robot in place.
Also the horns are a safety feature.. to impede it if it chases you?
Threehalves will be substantially slowed if attempting to navigate a standard American 32"x80" door.. Larger horns can be fit to prevent any passage through pedestrian doors.

OpenDerm: an open-source robotic imaging system for creating high-resolution, reproducible 3D maps of the skin. Registered scans help reveal new lesions and identify subtle changes in existing ones. Melanoma is highly treatable when detected early, yet today’s screening process depends heavily on patients noticing tiny changes across their entire skin surface. This requires patients to solve a near-impossible visual-memory and registration problem. The best way to make skin screening truly routine is to bring it into the home. OpenDerm shows that inexpensive robotic skin imaging is possible, but the path to scale is not a dedicated screening robot in every household—it is to make skin screening one of the many useful things a general-purpose home robot can do.
