Back in around 2012 Ethiopian Calendar, I was home running a tiny tech YouTube channel called Anexo Tech. I had 137 subscribers, all from those sub-for-sub groups where everyone fakes growth just to feel seen. No WiFi at home back then. I used this flash-drive-looking modem thing, CDMA or whatever it was called, where you insert a SIM card, recharge it with mobile cards, and pray the internet holds long enough to upload a video. While uploads were crawling, I used to explore YouTube, and I was obsessed with Tech Talk with Solomon. I watched every single episode the moment it dropped. One day, while watching, I heard him mention 1888EC. I immediately searched it up. The site looked insanely clean and professional to me at the time. I explored every page slowly, like it was something from another world. At the bottom, there was a contact section. I thought, why not try. At that time, I was already messing with HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript on an ancient laptop that crashed more than it worked. I sent him a long, honest email saying I live in a rural area, I love technology, I’m learning web dev, and asking for help. Deep down, I was lowkey expecting money or a brand-new laptop, like a naive kid dreaming big. Of course, no reply ever came. Years later, in one of his YouTube videos, at minute 57:48, he mentions a message sent from Jimma. That was me. Hearing that hit different. To this day, I wish I could meet him and tell him that, without even knowing it, he was part of the reason I kept going, and that I became exactly the kind of person his book was written for.

Let me tell you a story about something thats mentioned in this podcast idk if you would believe me or not but its just i was shocked .....

So first up the app Odit is a two device app , you have your android device which you will link to your web account on odit.et by scanning a qr code. That will basically link your web login with your device and let you fetch your data on both places the web portal has MUCH MORE screen size so ive made the advanced analysis tools on there instead of on a tiny phone screen Treat your device id and your qr code as if they are passwords , because they kinda are.

Lol this thing actually works 😂 tele doing scam , they gave me 1GB on my unlimited sim card lmfao.
