The past 24 hours have been quite volatile. I’m expecting a short-term cool-off before continuing. Make sure you aren’t over-leveraging yourself after these large moves. Trump came to an agreement with the President of Mexico to halt tariffs for one month, causing a massive bounce in the market. He still needs to form a resolution with Canada, but Mexico is a good start. That's why it pays to look at liquidation data and buy the fear. Quick summary of the market 📰 Trump recently announced tariffs on Mexico and Canada (tax on imported goods) in which they responded with tariffs of their own. This caused a drop in the market with most altcoins getting rekt. There are still a few memes outperforming but I would be weary, especially since it's the weekend and this crash can continue. Currently the 24h liquidations are showing 527m. I'm waiting for this to get close to 1B before I started heavily bidding. In saying that, make sure you're placing limit orders at major weekly support levels for your high conviction plays (BTC, HYPE, SOL, etc.). This will give you the best R/R and take emotion out of the trade. The last time Trump imposed tariffs, we saw a steep drop in the market. I'm still expecting a drop on Monday then a potential recovery a few days after. Only time will tell if it's a dead cat bounce or a slow bleed. Like I said before, always practice proper risk management and be patient. Just like with any cycle, this too shall pass 🤝
