problem with the paradox of tolerance is that being tolerant is just another kind of oath you do lol. and these people think tolerance will permanently disappear or something if you let intolerant people win, which is stupid, because tolerance is also part of human nature. when intolerant governments win they must ensure that tolerance is suppressed, they must assume total control. but the great irony of it all is that so do the tolerant governments, otherwise intolerance wins. which is why modern western "democracies" can be so... totalitarian
