Ghareeb • غَرِيبٌ

What does Ṣalawāt upon Him (ﷺ) mean? Allāh Almighty said: “Indeed, Allāh and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, ask (Allāh to confer) blessing upon him and ask (Allāh to grant him) peace." ‎The prayer for the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم means: The prayer of Allāh upon His Prophet means: praising him in ʾAlmalāʿ al-ʾAʿlā, as ʾAbū Al-ʿĀliyah said. ‎The prayer of the believers upon the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is not an intercession for him, but rather a reward for him due to his favor upon them. Due to the generousity of Allāh and the status of His Prophet, Allāh made the believers benefit from their prayers upon him. As mentioned in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever sends one prayer upon me, Allāh sends ten prayers upon him.” And in Tirmiḏī as Marfūʿ: “The closest to me on the Day of Resurrection are those who send the most prayers upon me.” (Tafsīr al-Bayān, Page 1997 by Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz aṭ-Ṭurayfī فك الله أسره)

صلوا عليه! قال الله تعالى: إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يا أيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا وعنْ عبداللَّه بن عمرو بن العاص، رضي اللَّه عنْهُمَا أنَّهُ سمِع رسُول اللَّه (صلى الله عليه وسلم) يقُولُ: مَنْ صلَّى عليَّ صلاَةً، صلَّى اللَّه علَيّهِ بِهَا عشْرًا رواهُ مسلم. وعن ابن مسْعُودٍ أنَّ رسُول اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) قَالَ: أَوْلى النَّاسِ بِي يوْمَ الْقِيامةِ أَكْثَرُهُم عَليَّ صَلاَةً رواه الترمذي وقال: حديثٌ حسنٌ. وقال زين العابدين بن الحسين بن علي (رحمه الله تعالى): "علامة أهل السنة: كثرة الصلاة على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم." اللهم صلِّ على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم. — https://t.me/steadfastness2
