𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚.

Tsireya, is the thirteen-year-old Tsakarem of the Metkayina clan and is the daughter of the clan leaders, Ronal and Tonowari, as well as the younger sister of Aonung. When Jake Sully and his family came to the Metkayina clan, her father assigned the task of training the Sully children to her. Tsireya, having a calm and welcoming presence, agreed with pleasure. She taught them The Way of Water and how to free-dive. Tsireya formed a good friendship with the family and a close bond with Lo'ak. She assisted the Sully family when they were being targeted by the RDA.

Aonung is a fifteen-year-old Na'vi hunter / free-diver from the Metkayina clan and the eldest son of the clan leaders, Tonowari and Ronal, and Tsireya's brother. When the Sully family arrived at the reef village, his father assigned him to help the Sully children adjust to the reef lifestyle. He obeyed his father grudgingly. Aonung initially intimidated Lo'ak and Kiri for being different, along with his friends. But as the threat of the RDA looms larger, Aonung sees the bigger picture and finds friendship with the Sully children. Aonung was the first-born son of Tonowari and Ronal. He lived in Awa'atlu in the Eastern Sea, becoming a skilled warrior in training. Other adolescent boys looked up to him as a role model, which also contributed to some of their immaturity and mischievous behavior such as hunting outside the reef. Aonung does not have tattoos and also lacks warrior garments, as he is too young for their rites of passage.

Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan was Jake Sully and Neytiri's eldest son at 15-years-old. He is the eldest brother of Kiri, Lo'ak, and Tuktirey. As the eldest brother, Neteyam gets them out of dangerous situations. When the RDA attacked, he and his family went into hiding under the protection of the Metkayina clan, and began learning their ways. Since Neteyam often threw his weight on his brother's side, he and Lo'ak would regularly get into trouble. Tensions rose between the brothers when Lo'ak viewed Neteyam as the "perfect son" who could do no wrong.

Rotxo is a young Na'vi diver from the Metkayina clan and a close friend of Tsireya and Aonung. Rotxo was with Aonung when the Sully family arrived at the clan in search of refuge. They both looked at the forest Na’vi and laughed at Lo'ak and Neteyam for their tails. After Tonowari granted the Sully family refuge, Rotxo helps Tsireya and Aonung to train the Sully children, though he was not assigned to train them. While diving, Rotxo and Aonung were confused as to why the forest Na'vi were not following them, despite their frequent gestures to do so, unaware that they did not understand sign language. He and Tsireya taught them how to take deep breaths in preparation for a dive. Realizing Lo'ak's attraction to Tsireya, Rotxo and Neteyam shared amused looks.
