⚡️On May 28, Iranian-Backed Houthis Fire Anti-Ship Ballistic Missiles, US Central Command Reports
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that on May 28, Iranian-backed Houthis launched five anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen into the Red Sea.
The M/V Laax, a Greek bulk carrier flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, reported being hit by three missiles but continued its voyage. There were no reports of casualties from US, coalition, or merchant vessels. Additionally, between 10:04 am and 1:30 pm (Sana'a time), US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces successfully destroyed five unmanned aerial systems (UAS) over the Red Sea, launched from territory controlled by Iranian Houthis in Yemen.
