I honestly hate short form social media Because atleast in the old days even if you did spend a couple hours binging a show or playing games, you probably laughed, you probably cried Even if it wasn't productive You still probably had fun Now the norm is just to just scroll with an expressionless face and consuming content you wont recall 5 minutes later

As my last act at A2SV, i created todays contest and themed it after the final episodes of my favorite shows. im not crying you are😭

I am very delighted to see that a2sv has found a way to stay and will continue operating in Ethiopia, and i am happy that the tech community played its part in making that happen. A2SV has been a great environment to work in and has given me many unforgettable moments. Which is why it pains me to announce that i have officially resigned from A2SV from my role of Head of education, as much as i have the passion for teaching and helping others, i dont see it being a part of my career plan in the long term as i want to focus more on development side than teaching, and considering this was a full time position it was hard to sustain both side by side. I am grateful for everything a2sv has done for me and im sure they will continue to help countless others.

By the way Incase you didn't know One of my primary factors to making this app was data consumption , it uses even less data than Spotify according to my tests I built it so that it only retrieves audio from YouTube so its not just loading the whole thing and then just letting you hear the audio

As someone that has had quite a few conversations with emre , He honestly believes in his vision and is committed to it ,and to see someone that was that willing to help africans more than other africans were willing to help their own be pushed away because of lack of support and bureaucracy really pisses me off. they literally walked into the office one day and started confiscating our devices and then couple days later restricted us from coming on the premise
