Hi everyone! I’m Alexander. Next week Saturday I’m hosting an Instagram live where I’ll be answering whatever design-related questions you ask. Some of you know me, many of you don’t. For the latter, I’ll give a brief intro: I’m a multidisciplinary designer working across brand and product to create delightful design. Multidisciplinary is just a fancy way of saying I’m skilled across various aspects of design. I have over 4 years of experience, mostly working as a brand designer and creative director in agency and freelance, helping early stage businesses find their voice. I recently completed a master’s degree in HCI and design where I got to learn from and be mentored by some of the best designers in the world including big tech companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Most recently I’ve started my own design agency, TheCreativeArmy which is committed to helping startups and early stage businesses find their voice in the market, and to educate the next generation of designers. The long intro wasn’t me trying to boast about my credentials, but to give you a reason to listen to me. I’m still extremely early in my career so I remember exactly what it feels like to start, but I have enough experience that I’m sure you can gain something useful from listening to me ramble.
