Law students from eligible countries are invited to enter this year's competition answering the following question: How effective have laws protecting the rights of children been to reduce poverty and support economic development? How could they be improved? The online registration form and competition details are available at www.lex-lead.org. Students should register by 31 October 2023 (late registrations are taken on a discretionary basis) with 5-page essays accepted between 1-31 December 2023. Call for Photography Competition EHRCO, as part of its week-long human rights advocacy campaign titled ‘Pagume for Human Rights’ scheduled from September 05-09, 2023 calls on talented and interested candidates to  engage in a week-long photography competition which will last from August 23- 31, 2023. Interested candidates will need to provide their original photos that can innovatively capture the rights of women, children, youth, internally displaced persons, and people with disabilities in Ethiopia. The competition is open to all photographers, regardless of experience or skill level. The goal of the competition is to raise awareness of the challenges faced by these groups and to promote their rights. Submission Guidelines 🔰Submissions must be original and unpublished (and they should adhere solely to the Ethiopian context). 🔰Submissions must be in digital format and must be at least 300 dpi and with jpg format 🔰Submissions must be accompanied by a brief description of the photograph and the photographer's name. 🔰Entrants must have full ownership and control of the materials in the photo.
