Historical yule market at Gamla Uppsala ⊕
Finished my viking age apron dress (smokkr) in wool yesterday so i could wear it for this event. It was such a nice market with many people selling their handmade items.
Krumkake recipe (Norwegian waffle cookies.) These cookies are traditionally made around Christmas along with other cookies of Nordic origin including sandbakelse and rosettes. This iron belonged to my great grandmother. 🤍
The beauty of pale/pink-toned skin.🌷
To deviate a bit from my normal content, I wanted to share a sentiment that I have come to learn as a young woman. Through much of my adolescence, I believed that my skin needed to be tanned and even-toned to be perceived as beautiful. A lot of these feelings of inadequacy stemmed from popular media, which I believe has an agenda to demean European beauty. As I have grown older though, I have gained a new appreciation for my pale skin. I came to realize that a large percentage of the world’s population is envious of our complexion, and there is even an entire industry centered around skin lightening. When you put all of this into perspective, you realize that the beauty of white women is truly unmatched and cannot be replicated despite the efforts of multi-million dollar industries. The beauty of the Ancients and the Gods lives within us. So be proud of your pale face, for it is the face of your Ancestors.
Quilted wall hanging with gnomes. 🎄🎁 A Yule gift for a family member and my submission for this month’s White Art Challenge.

It's wild to me some of the comments made about women in the Folkisch movement. How can one know the lore and historical accounts and think negatively of our women?
If we must be expressive, let me state, " Teutonic (European/Germanic) women are the only ones who give birth to worthy men."
The sources are unanimous. It isn't a question. We aren't semetic with hate for females, but rather embrace the feminine in its place. They are to be respected for their intuitive and emotional intelligence.
This doesn't denigrate the masculine in our folk. It lifts us up to become maximally masculine. Love your Teutonic women. They will inspire us to a beautiful future. Let's birth the greatest generation of Teutonic loving children this age has ever seen.

Fun fact about me: I used to be a baker a few years back. This is a Yule log cake I decorated one year.
I’m going to be whipping out my baker skills this holiday season because I NEED to make this for Yule. 🍰☀️
