How flattering to see one of my embroideries make it into the Justice Report’s article on the Monthly White Art Challenge. 😊🤍 https://justicereport.news/articles/2023/12/19/monthly-white-art-challenge-hopes-to-inspire-unity-through-creativity/

A cake I made for Syttende Mai (Norwegian Constitution Day) last year. 🇳🇴 I’m looking forward to having more time to do some baking this winter season.

A photo I took in Ireland of a clochán or “beehive hut.” These mysterious stone structures can be found across County Kerry. The builders of these structures meticulously and precisely stacked rings of stones on top of one another, without using mortar. Although we know how they were built, there is a lot of speculation as to when they were built. Some sources suggest the clochán were built in the medieval period, between the 8th-12th centuries AD. It’s likely hermit monks and followers of Saint Peter once lived in them. However, according to Irish tradition and folklore, the clochán are much older than the medieval period and were possibly used by Celtic pagans before 500 AD.

A few ornaments I made for the Yule tree last year. I cut the wood discs from a fallen white pine, sanded them, and then burned the runes and swastika symbols.
