"Orthodox Jew Stabbed in Zurich; Suspect in Custody" On the evening leading into Sunday, in Zurich's Selnau district, an Orthodox Jew was critically injured in a stabbing incident. The victim is currently hospitalized and in a life-threatening condition. Authorities have detained a 15-year-old „Swiss“ citizen of Arab descent in connection with the attack. The incident has prompted an investigation to determine the motives behind the attack. The German-Jewish newspaper was among the first to suggest the attack is antisemitic. However, Swiss newspapers have not yet confirmed this assessment, as the investigation remains ongoing and the event occurred less than a day ago. The suspect is now in investigative custody as further details are awaited. This is the nightmare scenario for any parent, discovering their child has been victimized in such a manner. The case in Vienna appears to have stretched over several months, during which the girl was subjected to multiple instances of gang rape while also being filmed on camera, according to reports in the media. The police are probing allegations of severe sexual abuse of minors, as reported by the Austrian online portal Krone on Thursday. The investigation targets 17 young individuals, some of whom are 13-18 years of age. The perpetrators must be punished with death.
