Living an integrated life with God means aligning our thoughts, our motivations and desires with those of God, uniting our wills with His. Such a life opens us to His graces, filling us with peace and joy even in the hardest of times.
Living such a life is a great challenge even amongst the holiest of us.
Faith, hope and love are virtues that are infused into our souls by God to draw us to Him. They have their origin in God and lead to Him as their goal.
In this talk Colin Tan, OCDS, draws on Church teachings and the writings of Carmelite Saints, in particular St. John of the Cross, to share how we can use these virtues to move towards an integrated life with God. | 738 |
| 10 |  +9This past weekend (22–23 Aug), in celebration of Catholic Education Sunday, our parish hosted Marymount Convent School at the Saturday Sunset Mass and the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus Primary and Secondary at the 9.30am Mass.
We were happy to have their students sing in the choir, proclaim the readings and serve as hospitality ministers.
We thank God for the gift of Catholic education, which offers our young people an encounter with Christ and forms them in Gospel values, raising saints for God’s Kingdom 😇
Today (25 Aug), on the feast of St Joseph Calasanz, universal patron of all Catholic schools, we pray that our Catholic schools will always remain true to their mission. St Joseph Calasanz, pray for us! 🙏
