Recently, I have started noticing how connected our lives have become to our phones and screen, so much of our daily lives now are around screens, and that really disturbs me. As 2 Peter 2:19 reminds us, we can become slaves to whatever has mastered us. Technology is taking more and more of our time, affecting our health, our relationships. May God guide us and give us wisdom to use the technology we have today without allowing it to control us 🙏 #Scripture @bale_helm

ትዕግሥት | ምሳሌ 14፥29 The verse contrasts two kinds of character: the person who is slow to anger and the one who is quick-tempered. Being slow to anger does not mean never becoming angry, but having the wisdom and self-control to restrain anger rather than letting it control one’s words and actions. This patience shows great understanding, because the wise person takes time to understand a situation and respond appropriately. In contrast, a hasty temper reveals foolishness. The quick-tempered person reacts without thinking, often leading to regrettable words, poor decisions, and unnecessary conflict. His uncontrolled anger makes his lack of wisdom evident. The verse therefore teaches that self-control is a mark of wisdom.
