If North Korea and Russia were to form an alliance, the United States would likely respond by bolstering its Pacific Fleet to enforce a blockade, complicating China's efforts to project its influence over Taiwan and the Philippines. This scenario is clearly undesirable for China. Geopolitically, China views North Korea primarily as a buffer state; its military presence prevents South Korean and U.S. forces from advancing beyond the 38th parallel, which is crucial for maintaining regional stability. Beyond this strategic buffer role, North Korea offers limited additional value to China. Well it's not an "if" any longer. It's the reality, so hypotheticals don't matter.

I’ll try to be unbiased as possible with the post-debate analysis. It was clear that Trump wanted to focus most of his energy on the two major wars that happened under Biden’s watch and immigration. I would say it would have been better had he mentioned how he sanctioned Nord Stream II during his presidency and how he basically predicted that Russia’s energy leverage over Europe is going to bite Europe eventually in the upcoming years. He probably should have addressed this during the Ukraine-Russia debate. Also, his refusal to address the child care issue kind of looked bad. Biden’s opening statement and overall at beginning of the debate was honestly disastrous. He was mumbling, coughing, and looked like a patient. It was evident that he has aged significantly since 2020. However, I would say Biden calling Trump a whiner for his refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election was a good one liner to make. Also, his answers to the opioid crisis and child care were superior to Trump’s. But yet again, the closing statement was bad as he looked weak and couldn’t profess his strength as the leader of the most powerful country on Earth. Biden needed a strong performance to turn the tides around, but he wasn’t able to do that. I wouldn’t argue that Trump completely BTFO Biden, but Trump did outpace him unlike how Biden outpaced him in the first 2020 debate.
