Sh. Sālih al-Fawzān hafidahullah said: "Do not get tired of seeking knowledge even if your understanding is little, for there is blessing and good in little [knowledge] with righteous deeds; no doubt, continuing seeking knowledge is a great affair. Seeking knowledge is worship, and is more virtuous than voluntary prayers." [Al-Ijābāt al-Muhimmah (84)] https://x.com/yassinyd/status/1981462702934397249?s=46

Ibn al-Jawzi rahimahullah said: "The Salaf, when one of their children grew up they would occupy him with memorizing the Qur'an and listening to Hadith, so that emaan would become firmly rooted in his heart." https://x.com/yassinyd/status/1980325403987464585?s=46

Sh. al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahu’Allah said: “The one oppressed and envied , if he is patient and fears Allah, the outcome will be his.” [Majmoo al-Fataawa 17/22] https://x.com/yassinyd/status/1978876911418851633?s=46

As-Salmasi (d. 574) rahimahu'Allah said: "The people of knowledge agreed that nobody combined the comprehensive statements of faith in Allah and His Messenger as al-Shafi'i - may Allah have mercy on him - combined them in his concise statement: 'I believed in Allah and in what came from Allah according to the intent of Allah, and I believed in the Messenger of Allah and in what came from the Messenger of Allah according to the intent of the Messenger of Allah.' [Manazil al-A'immah al-Arba'ah (1/146)]" https://x.com/yassinyd/status/1978618709955825780?s=46

Al-'Allāmah Ibn Bāz rahimahullāh was asked regarding the ruling of one who says to his : “You are like my sister,” without intending to make her forbidden (to himself); Answer: This differs according to his intention. If he said to his wife, “You are like my sister” or “like my mother” from the angle of respect, the angle of honoring her, meaning as a form of appreciation for her, then this is not forbidden and there is nothing upon him. But it is better to avoid this; it should be avoided because it causes confusion. He should not use this expression with her. However, if he intended to make her forbidden—meaning she is forbidden (to him) like his sister, or that she is forbidden like his mother, or like his daughter, this is the well-known ẓihār (declaring his wife forbidden upon him like close kin), and upon him is the expiation (kaffārah) of ẓihār, which is arranged in order by the text of the Qur’an. Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi rahimahu’Allāh said: “The roots of all degraded characters from which all immoral traits are built upon are four, which are: 1. Injustice 2. Ignorance 3. Cowardice 4. Miserliness” [Al-Akhlaq wa al-Siyar 129/1] https://x.com/yassinyd/status/1977799689140326681?s=46

‎Many of the Companions رضي الله عنهم prohibited drinking alcohol upon themselves during the pre-Islamic era (Jāhiliyyah).Among them was Abū Bakr Al-Ṣiddīq رضي الله عنه. ‎Aisha رضي الله عنها said: "Abū Bakr prohibited alcohol upon himself, so he did not drink it in Jāhiliyyah nor in Islam. And that was because he passed by a man who was drunk, placing his hands in excrement (i.e feces) and bringing it close to his mouth. When he detected its smell, he turned away from it. Abū Bakr said, 'This man doesn't know what he's doing.'" ‎[Refer to Ḥilyat al-Awliyā 7/160] https://x.com/yassinyd/status/1977067061508440065?s=46
