Ejaculation O sweetest heart of Jesus ! I implore That I may ever love thee more and more. ~ The Raccolta (1878) His Holiness, Pope Pius IX., by a rescript of the S. Congr. of Indulgences, Nov. 26, 1876, granted to all the faithful, every time that, with at least contrite heart and devotion, they shall say this ejaculation : AN INDULGENCE OF 300 DAYS. A PLENARY INDULGENCE, once a month, to all who have the pious custom of saying it daily, on any day, when, being truly penitent, after confession and communion, they shall visit a church or public oratory, and pray there devoutly, for some time, for the intention of his Holiness.

This prayer was given to the three children of Fatima by the angel that visited them, the Angel of Peace (patron of Portugal), in the Spring of 1916, the year before Our Lady appeared to them. The Angel of Peace has also been identified as St. Michael and this prayer is sometimes called ‘The Pardon Prayer’. My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I beg pardon of Thee for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee. Meu Deus! Eu creio, adoro, espero e amo-Vos.
