Young people today face increasing levels of stress, anxiety, and emotional overload. This training course will equip you with practical tools to strengthen resilience, promote mental well-being, and create safer, more supportive spaces for young people. Throughout the training, you will explore: • mindfulness and meditation • breathwork and relaxation techniques • yoga and body awareness • emotional regulation and resilience-building • non-formal education methods for youth work You'll also exchange experiences with participants from seven European countries, build new partnerships, and leave with practical methods ready to use in your own organisation. Food supplies are vegetarian, and volunteers cook and clean in teams. Volunteers live in shared rooms (3–4 people) on the ACF campus with WiFi; the workplace is on-site, and three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) plus tea, coffee and water are fully provided. Airport pickup from Zanzibar (ZNZ) and all project‑related local transport are arranged by ACF; personal free‑time transport is at your own expense. Participants should be motivated to work with children, youth and women, open‑minded, respectful of local customs, ready for shared community living, team work, and committed, punctual participation; basic English is required.
