🇮🇷 Yesterday i had the opportunity to witness in person Rage by Shirin Neshat. She's an exiled iranian artist and the art is a painted photograph from 1998. It talks about the bravery and dignity of iranian women as a manifesto denouncing their rights being stripped. In the last few weeks in Iran something terrible is happening: big revolts are infuriating in the streets against the totalitarism and the terrible economic situation, asking for the deposition of ayatollah Khameneyee. The response has been violence, repression, internet blackout. There's been thousands of civilian victims, and they have no possibility to talk or report what's happening.
