Through Paul's appeal to Philemon, we saw the gospel at work in reconciliation, forgiveness and restoration: welcoming others as Christ has welcomed us, releasing the debts we hold against others and refusing to define people by their worst moments. Because Christ has welcomed us, paid our debt and called us His family, we are invited to extend that same grace to others.
