The reactions of the man in Mark 5 would make modern physicians try to prescribe him medications.
I cannot confirm that all devils are like this, but Legion appears to be a hivemind.
Is not Jesus Christ the Son of the most high God? Here we have evidence that devils can tell the truth, at least in isolation. This proves that the words of devils cannot be reversed in order to understand good, further showing us that it is pointless for us to communicate with devils.
This right here is exactly why I believe it is completely unfruitful to try and interact with devils in any capacity. They're a wildcard. At one point they may do something that is technically right and good, but then afterward do something crazy. Unless you're Jesus Christ who knows all things, I do not recommend dealing with devils in any way other than ignoring them and presenting the gospel to the victim.
In the KJV "cry" means to speak in a loud voice. So this guy was screaming in the mountains.
You may infer that this is increased strength, but I see this as just plain insanity; the dude can't be chained down because he's way too crazy to be dealt with.
Mark5:1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
Mark5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Mark5:3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Mark5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
Mark5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
Mark5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
Mark5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
Mark5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
Mark5:9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
Mark5:10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
Mark5:11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
Mark5:12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
Mark5:13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Mark5:14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
Mark5:15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
Mark5:16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
Mark5:17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
If you are unsure about your own eternal destiny, read the below passage...
John6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
John6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
John6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John6:41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
John6:42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
John6:43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
John6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
John6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
John6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
There are two classes of people: those that will live forever in the kingdom of God, and those that will be thrown into the lake of fire after final judgement. Depending on which class you belong to, you will either immediately ascend or immediately descend when you die.
In other words, what I'm saying is that dead people don't float around on earth haunting us. There are spirits that hang out with us on earth, but they are not human. This is important to understand in this study.
If devils can cause insanity and suicidal thoughts, then this should be explored further. When I first started this channel I relied on fallible sources, and I believe I made many errors in doing so. From now on I am relying on the KJV, the infallible word of God. This way I can make much more accurate hypotheses.
The swine were compelled just as the previously possessed men were compelled, but I am unsure as to why the devils made the swine drown in the sea. My best guess is that latching onto a sea creature would be ideal for fast transportation.
They can even exit and enter different bodies at will. However it may be important to note that they likely can't just enter anything they want.
Here it is to be assumed that the devils even spoke from the mouths of the people they possessed.
According to the word of God, the infallible source of information that we have been given, devils can make a person "exceeding fierce" and dangerous to approach. The implications of this are massive.
Mat8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
Mat8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Mat8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
Mat8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
Mat8:32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Mat8:33 And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
Mat8:34 And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.
We're going to discuss some things tonight, particularly what devils are and what they can do.
I will be using the KJV as a primary source because the word of God is infallible and pure. I may use other sources, but they must be taken with a grain of salt.

I have made the chat open to new members.
There are some heavy subjects I want to cover on this channel in the future.
