So much for freedom of the press.
And not only is the Australian government interfering with independent journalism, it is also giving the corporate media millions in grants, and forcing the tech companies to give those same billion-dollar companies tens of millions more.
The demonetisation happened in August, and we weren't going to mention it and give the ABC reporters the satisfaction, but now that the government is confirmed to be involved we are compelled to speak out about it.
Australians should know that their government is suppressing media outlets they don't like, and buying off the rest.
