ባለፈው  ዓመት ለSt.pauls coc  ስናስተምር ተማሪዎቻችን የፍላጎታቸው እንደሚሆን እርግጠኞች ነበረን ❗️ ትዝታ.....😍 እኛም በጊዚያችን 12ኛ ክፍል ጨርሰን ለቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ዝግጅት አድርገን  አልፈን ቅዱስ ጳውሎስ  ህክምና መማር እንዳለብን ተነጋገርን ! ስድስት ነበርን ነገርግን በደንብ ተቀራርበን ሁልጊዜ አብረን የምናነበው አራታችን ነበርን .... ስድስታችንም above 600 እንደምናመጣ ሙሉ እርግጠኞች  ነበርን  ፤ ነገር ግን ለCOC ለመዘጋጀት  ስናስብ ምን እናምብብ Even ስለ ጳውሎስ የሚነግረን ሰው ከየት ይምጣ😢...ብቻ ግን የሆነ ቴሌግራም ቻናል ላይ Situational judgement የሚል ፋይል ለቀቁልን ....ምን ብናደርግ ጥሩ ነው😂... ስድስታችንም በግሩፕ  አብረን ስለ Situational judgment ምንም የምናውቀው ነገር ባይኖርም ከእኛ በፊት ለነበሩት ሲኒዬሮች እንዳወጡበት ፋይሉ የተለቀቀበት ቻናል ይገልፃል!  እኛም ጥያቄ መሸምደዱን በቡድን ተያያዝንው 😂 ትንሽ ዘግይተን ስለነበረ የጀመርንው የዚያን ፋይል ጥያቄዎች ሸምድደን እንደጨረስን ውጤት ተለቀቀ ፤ ደስ ይል ነበረ! የሁላችንም  ውጤት  ከ615-648 ባለው ነበረ ። Then ከሳምንታት በኋላ ቅ. ጳውሎስ  Call out  አወጣ  ! ተመዘገብን ! ፈተናው ምንምን እንደሚያካትት ማስታወቂያው ነገረን ... ሰርገኛ መጣ በርበሬ ....!  ቢሆንብንም  በምንችለው ተዘጋጅተን የፈተናው ቀን ደረሰ 🙈 ጠዋት ወደፈተናው ጣቢያ (መድሀኒያለም ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት ) አመራን  ...! በጠዋት  ድረሱ ስለተባልን ቀደም ብለን ነበረ የሄድንው... ከመፈተኛው ስንደርስ  ግራ ተጋባን 😁 ሁሉም የ12ኛ ክፍል ተማሪ ሊፈተን የመጣ እስኪመስል ድረስ  .....አቤት መደናገጥ🫣 ስማችንም  ....መፈተኛ ክላሶች በር ላይ ስለተለጠፈ ፍለጋ😢....በAlphabet ስለሆነ ብቻ ብዙም አያስቸግርም  .... 😞 የእኔ Section 37 ነበረ  ...አጠቃላይ 46section ነበርን  ....አስቡት ከ1850 በላይ ተማሪ ነበረ ፤ ጳውሎስ የሚፈልገው 80ተማሪዎችን ብቻ ነበረ  ..ለዚያውም 15ቱ ከEmerging Region ☹️ 65ብቻ በሉት🤷 አንዱ ጓደኛዬ section 6 ነበረ   ብዙ እንራራቃለን .... ፈልገን እንደጨረስን ሰብሰብ ብለን ቁጭ አልን ... አቤት የተማሪው ብዛት😱🙊 .... የሆኑ ልጆች በግሩፕ መጥተው አጠገባችን ቁጭ አሉና ....🫣 ስለClinical investigation ምናምን ደመቅ አድርገው ወሬያቸውን  ቀጠሉ ....አንዱ ጓደኛዬ አልቆልናል አለ😁😁 ...ተነስተን ሌላ ጋር ተቀመጥን ፤እዚያም  ስለፈተናው ወሬ አለ ...ፈተናው 2:00 ተብሎ እስከ 4:00 አልተጀመረም ነበረ😞 4:00 ሲሆን ፈታኞች መጡ ! ስልክ መያዝ አይቻልም ነበረ !... ፈተናችንን ጀመርን 70 ጥያቄ  time allowed 2:45  ነበረ ! ያ....የሸመደድንው ጥያቄ ምርጫው እንኳ ሳይቀየር በሙሉ ቁጭ🙊🙊...በጣም እድለኞች ነበርን በ2:00 ጨርሼ ወጣሁ ...በርግጥ ብዙ ምንም የማላውቃቸው  ጥያቄዎችም ነበሩ !...ሰዓቱ አልቆ ሁሉም ወጣ  ...ስድስታችንም ተገናኘን በጣም ትልቅ ደስታ ፊታችን ላይ  ነበረ ....ደግሞ የተማሪውን ቁጥር ስናስበው 😭😢 ዉጤታችንም በዚያው ቀን  ማምሻ 10:00 አካባቢ ለቀቁልን  አምስታችን ለ interview አለፍን ፤ አንዱ ወደቀ 😥! Interview ...??  ምኑን እናንሳው  ግማሹ ሱፍ ያስፈልጋል ይላችኋል ...ብቻ ወሬው ብዙ ነበረ ...!  ሄድን  ቀኑ ደረሰና ፈተናችን ሁለት Venue  ነበረዉ (Venue A and Venue B) ሁለታችን ከጠዋት ሶስቱ ደግሞ ከሰዓት ነበረ  የደረሰን  ... Interviewም አለቀ ! ዉጤት ከ100%  በሶስተኛው ቀን ተለቀቀ ....እንደ እድል በሉት ባንደኛው ፈረቃ አንድም  ጓደኛችን ሳያልፍ በሌላይኛው ፈረቃ ሁለት ሰው አለፈ ! Entrance በጣም ዝቅተኛ ይዘው ያለፉ በጣም ብዙ ነበሩ !...ዋናው COC ነበረ ! በዚያን ጉዞ መረጃ  ወሳኝ ነበረ...ለማግኘትም መከራ ነበረ  ማንም የሚነግረን  አልነበረም! ነገር ግን ላለፍንውም ላላለፍንውም (ለስድስታችንም) ጳውሎስ መወዳደራችን እጅግ እጅግ በጣም ወሳኝ ልምድ ነበረ የሆነን ... ያላለፍንው ሌላ ዩኒቨርስቲ ገብተን የምንፈልገውን  የትምህርት ዘርፍ ለማግኘት  የጳውሎሱ ተሞክሮ የማይተካ ሚና ነበረው ! ላለፍንውም...❤️ በዚያን ጊዜ ...እኛ መከራችንን ያየንበት የመረጃ  እጦት ለምን በሌላ junior ተማሪዎች ይደገም ? ዛሬ ሁሉም ነገር በእኛ ቀላል ሆኗል!

Let us see one by one ... ✔️The first step in the selection process is the release of the national exam results. After the results are announced, there will be a call-out for students who have achieved a certain threshold score( last year 425/700 ). This means that only students who have scored above a specific cutoff will be eligible to participate further in the admission process! 😍One interesting aspect of St. Pauls selection criteria is that students from all corners of Ethiopia have an equal opportunity to participate. This means that regardless of where a student is from, they have an equal chance to compete for admission❗️ 🪧 Additionally, students from the Emerging regions ( Afar, Somali, Gambella, Borena, and Waghemira ) are given affirmative measures. This entails the allocation of an exclusive quota for students from these regions, providing them with additional opportunities for admission. 😁😊 regarding the selection criteria at St. Paul's , male and female students compete on an equal footing without any gender-based distinctions. In many other universities, there is an affirmative measure that grants female students additional marks, making it relatively harder for male students to secure admission to medicine 😞. 💡However, at St. Paul's, both male and female students are given an equal chance to compete and pursue their passion for medicine. ✅For the second Question ....it occurs after the national entrance exam results are announced. Thus, once you receive your entrance exam results, you can expect the call-out to happen afterward. ➡️❗️Now, regarding the question of whether it is effective to prepare for Coc exam after the call-out or after knowing your entrance exam results, Medical gateway would highly recommend you to start your preparation early.
