⏳ Added a Waiting Period for Better APY Hipos, based on your feedback, we’ve added a new feature to help keep APY more stable. Now, any new GRAM staked in Hipo will wait until the current validation round ends — up to 18 hours — before receiving hGRAM and starting to earn staking rewards. This waiting time is now visible in the Hipo App. During this cooldown period, stakers will receive an SBT, which will automatically convert to hGRAM later. This change ensures that new deposits entering Hipo no longer affect the APY of the current round. As a result, APY should remain more stable and predictable, helping protect existing stakers and ensuring rewards are distributed more fairly. 🚀 Hipo Reaches #6 on DeFiLlama on TON Hipos, we just reached 3,988,927 GRAM staked and became the #6 protocol on TON by TVL on DeFiLlama. We are only a few thousand GRAM away from reaching 4M GRAM staked — a historic milestone for Hipo. This moment is special because we are reaching it together after years of building, improving, and growing as a community. We are also seeing more large GRAM holders choosing Hipo, showing growing trust in our approach. One thing we are proud of is that Hipo was not shaped by a few large investors from the beginning. A note about the current APY Because Hipo TVL has doubled recently, the next validation round will have a temporary APY decrease. This is not because rewards are reduced — Hipo continues returning 100% of staking rewards. The change happens because rewards are distributed across a much larger amount of staked GRAM. Currently, Hipo allows new stakers to participate immediately, meaning users who join during a round can still receive rewards even if their stake was not active for the full validation period. After the next round, APY will return to normal levels. We are discussing two possible approaches for the future: Option 1 — Keep the current system New stakers can join instantly, receive hGRAM, and participate from the start. This provides the best user experience but may create temporary APY changes when large amounts of GRAM enter. Option 2 — Add a waiting period New stakers would join the next validation round instead of immediately participating. This would make APY more stable but delay rewards for new users. 🎉 Hipo Is Back to Validation Thanks to the incredible support of the Hipo community, our validator successfully participated in the latest validation round and is once again generating staking rewards. Just a week ago, Hipo was forced out of validation after our staked TON dropped below the validator requirement. But, today, thanks to the incredible support of the Hipo community, our validator has successfully returned to validation. A huge thank you to everyone who staked, shared Hipo with others, and supported us during this difficult period. Your support has been truly inspiring. Hipo is back in validation with an estimated APY of around 18%. However, our work is not finished. If we want to avoid facing the same situation again, we need to continue growing Hipo's TVL. Every TON staked and every new user introduced to Hipo makes a difference. To help accelerate growth, we have set the protocol fee to 0%. This means 100% of staking rewards generated by Hipo are now returned to stakers. As a result, Hipo currently offers significantly higher rewards than other staking options in the TON ecosystem. 🚀 Incredible support from the Hipo community We’ve now reached around 800K TON TVL, and with the new TON network parameters, Hipo’s chance to participate in upcoming validation rounds has significantly improved. This is a strong step forward, but not the final one. Every additional TON matters. 🔥 As a reminder, we have set the protocol fee to 0%, which means stakers receive 100% of staking rewards — the highest possible rewards in TON staking. Now, growing TVL together gives Hipo a real chance to not miss future validation opportunities. 💜 Let’s keep building.

🔄 Update Noticed that a proposal to change TON network parameters was approved yesterday. While this does not guarantee anything, it may create a small opportunity for Hipo to return to validation, and we wanted to share this update with the community.

One of the approved changes increased the max_factor from 3 to 4.5. This parameter determines the allowed difference between the largest and smallest validator stake. • With a max_factor of 3, the validator stake range was approximately 2.7M TON to 900K TON. • With a max_factor of 4.5, the range becomes approximately 2.7M TON to 600K TON. Another important factor is that the validator set can include up to 400 validators. In the previous validation round, one validator slot remained empty. If that situation continues, there may be a chance for Hipo to participate again.

Currently, around 500K TON is staked through Hipo. This means that if an additional 100K–200K TON is staked, we may have a chance to rejoin validation. However, this is not guaranteed and will depend on the next election rounds and network conditions. To give Hipo the best possible chance, we have also made an important change: ✅ The protocol fee has been reduced to 0%. For now, all staking rewards will be returned to stakers. We are doing everything we can to keep Hipo alive and explore every possible path back to validation.

⚠️ Update for the Hipo Community Hipos, This is not the update we hoped to share. Over the past days, we did everything we could to find a path for Hipo to continue operating as a validator. We reached out to large TON holders, explored different proposals, and searched for every possible solution that could keep the protocol running. We were even prepared to reduce the protocol commission to 0%, giving up protocol revenue entirely, if that would help bring enough stake back to Hipo. Unfortunately, despite all these efforts, we were unable to secure enough TON to meet the validator requirements and return to validation. To everyone who kept their TON staked with Hipo during this uncertain period: thank you. Your patience, trust, and support gave us hope and the motivation to keep fighting for a solution until the very end. At this point, we do not want our community to continue waiting and potentially miss staking rewards elsewhere. If you wish to unstake and move your TON to another staking option, we completely understand and encourage you to do what is best for you. Hipo started with a simple vision: to make staking more accessible, transparent, and decentralized for the TON ecosystem. Together, we built one of the most recognized staking protocols on TON, launched HPO, created a community that believed in the mission, and proved that a small team with a dedicated community could build something meaningful. While validator operations may be coming to an end, the story of Hipo is not over yet. We are currently evaluating the future of HPO, Hipo Fund, our remaining commitments, and the best path forward for the community. We will share more details as soon as those plans are finalized.
