The earthquake tragedy that strucks Turkey, Syria and Lebanon has claimed more than 1,000 lives in less than 24 hours.
The strongest in 25 years, with 7.8 magnitude, occasions such as loss of loved ones, the destruction of homes and property, and the loss of food supplies will surely be a great test for them.

We have an immediate opening for a MSc candidature at the School of Health Sciences, USM to work under a project entitled 'Elucidating the effects of carbon dots nanoparticle in improving bioavailability and anti-cancer properties of baicalein'.
Requirements:
1. Background in biomedicine or biology
2. Past experince in cell culture work
3. CGPA score > 3.0
4. Malaysian only.
Allowance under the GRA scheme is available for the first 18 months.

The potential candidate would receive:
1. 100% tuition fee waiver at Sunway University
2. All other fees are covered including registration and visa-related fees
3. Monthly stipend of RM 3000 per month
The requirements that MUST be met by the potential candidate are:
1. Master degree with CGPA equal or more than 3.5 or its equivalent
2. Published one SCOPUS indexed or equivalent output
3. Students who are given direct entry to Doctoral level from Bachelor level are eligible for the PhD Studentship scheme subject to meeting the following requirements:
• CGPA equal or more than 3.67/ First Class Degree
• Pass Sunway University Internal Assessment
• Meet other requirements set by Sunway University and regulatory bodies
*offer of the award is subject to selection and interview process

Master GRA position
This project aims to study prevalence of multiple drug resistant microbes in tertiary hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
Requirement
1) Malaysian citizen
2) Bachelor’s degree (CGPA≥ 3.00) in Biomedical Science/Life Sciences / Basic Sciences.
3) Must be able to start in Jan/Feb 2023.
4) Good proficiency in both written and spoken English.
5) Independent, self-disciplined and motivated as well as a keen learner with good interpersonal skills.
6) With own transport.
7) GRA allowance will be provided to the registered Master’s candidate for 2 years.
(RM2000 per month)
