UTM is currently seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate for the Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre (AMTEC), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, for the October 2024 intake. Title: Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell Requirements: 1. The candidate must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/science with a CGPA of 3.5 and above (a bachelor’s degree with first-class honours is eligible for the Fast Track PhD Program at UTM). 2. Good knowledge of membrane technology, catalysts, and materials characterization is advantageous. 3. Highly passionate and self-motivated. 4. Must be able to work independently. 5. Proficient in writing and speaking English. 6. This position is only open to Malaysians. Allowance: The potential candidate will receive an RM3,000 monthly stipend (tuition fees not covered).
