The systematic and consistent dismantling of the AAK with each new step resembles the scenario in Ukraine, where, with the help of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, persecutions of priests and the involvement of external actors effectively destroyed the free church, which became a necessary condition for the unfolding of a tyrannical and bloody regime. After the provoked military defeats and the loss of Artsakh, the forgetting of the genocide issue, and the exhaustion of state legitimacy, the AAK has remained the last carrier of long historical memory.
