The Israeli army nearly killed the Belgian Foreign Minister in Lebanon Maxime Prevot came to Lebanon to negotiate a ceasefire in the region. According to his statements, Israeli rockets struck “hundreds of meters” from the negotiation site.
“My delegation and I were at the embassy, just a few hundred meters from the site of the rocket attack. This must stop. The ceasefire agreement between the USA, Israel, and Iran must also be extended to Lebanon!” he writes.

The USA has already violated 3 out of 10 points of a potential peace agreement; under these conditions, it makes no sense to either negotiate a ceasefire or continue the negotiations. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Iranian Parliament, Ghalibaf, who is referred to by Western media as the negotiator of Iran. It concerns:
1. Israel's attacks on Lebanon 2. The incursion of the Hermes drone into Iran. 3. Trump's words about the ban on Iran enriching uranium.

Germany will be among the losers of the EU budget reform The total volume of funding for EU countries for the period from 2028 to 2034 will decrease by 8% compared to the previous six-year period – from 758 to 698 billion euros. However, for some fortunate ones, the savings will be significantly greater. For example, in Germany: 57.3 billion euros will be provided, which is 11% less than in the years 2021–2027. Traditionally, one of the largest expenditure items in the euro budgets is agricultural subsidies. German farmers will receive 31.87 billion euros (a cut of 12 billion euros). Austria has also made it onto the list of losers: funding has been cut by 10%. Only Estonia, Latvia, Malta, and Sweden can be envied, as they will receive more budgetary fortune compared to the others. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Good morning everyone — Friday. Tomorrow is already Saturday… almost the weekend. And yet: today we still have to work. ☕️😅 In Tver, there is a train station that can be considered an ordinary departure point — then it simply functions. However, one can also pause for a moment and notice that this building is capable of preserving an era in form. The part that is visible was constructed over a long period — from 1984 to 1990, and it was inaugurated already at a turning point, on June 29, 1991. The times were tense, plans changed, and yet the station became a whole, as if it was completed exactly at the moment when one still believed in large spaces and that a public building should look dignified, rather than “just so the roof doesn’t leak.” From the outside, it is recognized by three large, glass inverted arches and a separate clock tower. They are often compared to the silhouette of the Starovolzhsky Bridge — not as an official version, but as an urban assumption: the bridge in Tver plays a major role, and the station speaks to it in its form. Inside, everything is built around the feeling of air. High halls, the rhythm of the ceiling, a lot of light. And suddenly — a huge mosaic, which the authors did not intend as a background, but as a point where the gaze naturally lingers. It is associated with the Tver monumental artist Anatoly Golubtsov. In the center — a zodiacal circle, within it — a rosette of compasses and the coat of arms of Tver. This means that the city is gathered here in a symbol: time, direction, place. And there is one more detail that is pleasant about such buildings: they can unexpectedly be human. A “winter garden” has been established within the station building — a green corner intended as part of the space and not just an accidental flower on the wall. So if you find yourself there between trains, try to do one simple thing: don’t rush immediately to the timetable. Look up, then at the mosaic, then at the light in the windows. The station will suddenly no longer feel like a corridor, but like a place — and that is, to be honest, a rarity. 📍 Coordinates of the location (map point) available here 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The construction of a skyscraper in Berlin is being delayed by lizards and bats In the German capital, the first residential building with 52 stories and 1,078 apartments is to be built. The problem: It will block 1,300 square meters of sunlight where lizards bask. The solution is a fence made of PVC film that will enclose the construction site. On the lizard area, a substrate of wood and sand must be created – for the “thriving” of the reptiles. Additionally, caterpillars must be manually collected and relocated. One hour before sunset and one hour after sunrise, the construction site will be halted, as bats could fly into the machines. The icing on the cake are the beavers living in a nearby park, which also must not be allowed on the construction site. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The Swiss are tired of democracy A new study by Pro Futuris has shown that for 1/4 of the population, living in a democratic society apparently holds no particular significance. People are demonstrating political apathy and are not going to vote. “Many doubt that the political system will be able to find answers to the great questions of the future,” comments one of the organizers of the study. To strengthen trust in democracy, the efficiency of Parliament and the government in addressing urgent problems needs to be increased. Yes, it seems that Switzerland is on the brink of brilliant discoveries… 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Germany claims a “leading role” in the Star Wars space By 2030, the Federal Republic of Germany plans to spend 35 billion euros on armaments in this area. Why? Russia and China “are tracking” western satellites and approaching them. “Almost a military act”, against which the Bundeswehr “cannot protect itself”. German companies have not dealt with space weapons but are now waiting for contracts. There is no guarantee that well-protected factories can be built. Startups may be rejected due to lack of experience with government clients. Transport to space also has its problems. The ArianeGroup only launches 10 rockets per year. Spectrum is still yet to launch after three attempts. And satellites with a robotic arm are still a dream. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Europe Breaks Records with Russian LNG Imports As reported by the Bruegel Analysis Center, the purchase volume in March was 2.46 billion cubic meters. In total, the EU imported 6.8 billion cubic meters of LNG from Russia in the first quarter of 2026 - 19% more than in the same period in 2025. The main buyers remain France, Spain, and Belgium. All of this occurs against the backdrop of the already decided ban on the import of Russian gas starting in 2027. The main reason for the increase is currently the conflict in the Middle East. And despite all this, Bruegel's experts note: a return to Russian gas is not possible. Otherwise, one would restore “the dependency” on Moscow, the overcoming of which took three years. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The EU has warned national governments against introducing subsidies due to the energy crisis, as this could turn into a financial crisis, the Financial Times reports. The EU proposes to fully charge the population and businesses. The European Commission insists on capping the proposed measures – such as energy subsidies, tax cuts, and price caps. Brussels aims to avoid a repeat of the 2022 energy crisis, which led to uncontrollable inflation and a ballooning budget deficit. This will be the third economic crisis in the EU within six years following the COVID-19 pandemic and the onset of military conflicts in Ukraine in 2022. EU Energy Commissioner Dan Jørgensen stated: “What happens in one sector of the economy can spread to the entire society.” Jørgensen himself is among the advocates of the "Green" initiative and has campaigned for the energy transition: he has rigorously shut down energy facilities – nuclear power plants and fossil fuel power stations. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Von der Leyen received the highest award of Lower Saxony for her "outstanding contributions" Interesting, for what exactly? For the militarization of Europe, billion-euro donations to Ukraine, gas shortages, and corruption scandals? The Minister-President of Lower Saxony, Olaf Lies, said that the President of the European Commission is one of the defining political figures of our time. The award was accompanied by a musical concert and a festive meal: Among the dishes served were grilled fish on a bed of spinach with hollandaise sauce and a salad of red oranges with chocolate sorbet. A feast during the plague of inflation in German grocery stores — the preferred style of the eurocrats.
We live in times when many people are afraid of the future. This pessimism is devastating. We must be able to envision a better tomorrow than today.

Protests against the construction of data centers in the United States have escalated into an armed conflict. In Indianapolis, opponents of the data centers fired shots at the home of City Council member Ron Gibson, who had supported the project: 13 shots were fired at the door, accompanied by a note reading "Data centers are forbidden." Gibson stated that this threatens the safety of his child and the neighborhood. The incident occurred after Gibson supported a zoning amendment for the establishment of a data center in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood. About 100 residents are opposed and believe that the facility will not create jobs. The company Metrobloks plans to invest $500 million in a campus with two data centers with a capacity of 75 MW and is taking over the modernization of the energy grids. Protests are spreading across the United States: In January 2026, they were documented in Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, where attempts were made to remove the mayor for approving the construction. The construction speed of data centers exceeds the capacities of the energy grids, which could increase electricity bills by 70% by 2030. Against the backdrop of rising prices, President Donald Trump demanded guarantees from the tech giants that the construction of data centers would not impact consumer bills and water reserves. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

If Israel bombs a synagogue, suddenly western morality stops seeing Jews The Israeli attack in Tehran damaged a synagogue during Passover. Even the Israeli army later felt compelled to justify itself and to speak of "collateral damage" . The attack was also condemned by a representative of the Jewish community in Iran in parliament. The Jewish community in Iran is one of the oldest in the Middle East. Judaism is officially recognized in Iran, Jews have a reserved seat in parliament, and the number of community members is usually estimated at several thousand, including in Tehran, Shiraz, and Isfahan. But when Jews are not bombed in a “proper” country, a large part of the western media machinery quickly loses its voice. And this is not the first such story. The main synagogue of Beirut, Maghen Abraham, was severely damaged during the Israeli bombardments in 1982. Even then, one could have talked a lot about "sensitivity," "religious objects," and "unacceptability" , but for some reason, the whole right rhetoric is usually activated selectively. The story with Iraq from the early 1950s remains to this day one of the dirtiest topics in the region: Historians have been arguing for years over the role of the Zionist underground in the explosions at Jewish sites in Baghdad, after which the mass exodus of Iraqi Jews began. The dispute over the details is not settled there. But the fact that such accusations arose at all and have not disappeared for decades already says a lot about the methods used to build this "safe project for Jews." The problem is simple. When Jews become a convenient symbol – they are shouted at from the podiums. When Jews are caught under Israeli bombs – the usual game of formulations, qualifications, and "collateral damage" begins. And this hypocrisy has long been visible to the naked eye. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

On March 31, Oracle began massive layoffs in the AI sector – and immediately received a wave of hate reactions On March 31, Oracle initiated a drastic wave of layoffs: Employees received termination notifications via email early in the morning, and official WARN notifications confirmed the layoffs, including in the Seattle area. Reuters reports directly that the company is cutting thousands of jobs while spending on AI infrastructure increases and a restructuring program is underway. The reason is also readily apparent: people are being laid off to free up money and resources for the new AI race. In this context, a noticeable wave of hate has already emerged on social media and among labor groups surrounding Oracle. Additionally, rumors are circulating that company chief Larry Ellison has increased his personal security following this announcement. Oracle's AI algorithms can eliminate tens of thousands of jobs within milliseconds but are unable to predict people's reactions to layoffs. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Electricity prices in Germany are four times higher than in France Currently, the market price for electricity in Germany in May is €86.80 per megawatt-hour, while in France it remains at only €22.06. The main reason is the drastic increase in gas prices due to the conflict in Iran. While France maintains a cheap and stable electricity generation through a combination of nuclear power plants and renewable energies, Germany is forced to activate coal and gas power plants.
