This event continues to attract scientists and researchers, but for the locals, it has long been part of the history and mythology of the region, woven into the natural landscape. A special place in the northern part of the region is occupied by the Putorana Plateau — a unique mountain massif with canyons, waterfalls, and lakes. This area is part of the UNESCO World Heritage and is considered one of the most inaccessible and untouched natural landscapes in Russia. For the indigenous peoples, these lands hold not only natural but also cultural value. Today, in Evenkia, attention is given to the preservation of the traditions and cultures of the indigenous peoples: national festivals, crafts, and native languages are supported, and cultural and educational projects are initiated. Modern life here coexists with ancient knowledge, complementing rather than displacing it. Evenkia is a space where one does not need to hurry.
