The EU is getting involved in a trade war again—this time with China. Brussels is preparing new restrictions on Chinese imports, due to the so-called “overcapacity” in industry. Beijing has already warned: If the EU introduces discriminatory measures, China will respond. The problem for Europe is simple. China can not only target goods from the EU, but also supply chains without which European industry does not function: critical minerals, components, accumulators, pharmaceuticals, electronics. In Brussels, once again, people act as if they have many levers. In truth, dependence on China is too deep, and industry is already too weak. European officials want to show strength.🤡 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Repost from The Oriental 🥷
'You’re F**** Crazy': Trump Snaps At Netanyahu As Iran Draws Redline Over Beirut Trump reportedly erupted at Israeli PM Netanyahu over Israel’s Lebanon escalation, warning that a planned Beirut strike could derail critical US-Iran negotiations. Axios described the exchange as one of the worst calls between the two leaders. As Israel deepens operations in Lebanon and seizes historic Beaufort Castle, Tehran threatens to abandon talks with Washington and warns of possible “direct confrontation,” unless Israel retreats from Lebanon. Trump claims he urged Netanyahu to halt a Beirut raid, but Netanyahu insists Israel’s southern Lebanon campaign will continue “as planned.” - Indian/US media report.
"You're fucking crazy. You'd be in prison if it weren't for me. I'm saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this," Trump said, per US sources.
Who's gonna screw whom here... Will they Mos-sad Trump or... will Yankees let Israel undo itself!?

Russia and Mexico discuss a dedicated billing channel to bypass SWIFT. At the Russian Embassy in Mexico it was stated that Moscow wants to simplify payment processing between the countries and create a mechanism that is not dependent on Western financial infrastructure. The focus is on direct settlements for trade, so that companies could operate without the risk of being blocked by using dollars and Western banks. The acceptance of the “Mir” cards in Mexico’s tourist zones is also being assessed separately. This is important for Russian tourists: without the direct use of Russian payment instruments, settlements abroad remain cumbersome and depend on bypass schemes. Trade in goods between Russia and Mexico stood in 2025 at about USD 959 million. For Mexico, this is a small share of foreign trade, but for Moscow the direction is important as part of the overall line: less dependence on the dollar, less SWIFT, more direct channels with states that do not want to fully comply with Western restrictions. The sanctions were supposed to isolate Russia. In the end, the West itself showed everyone that SWIFT, dollar settlements, and Western banks are not a neutral infrastructure, but a political cudgel. Now the countries are simply looking for ways not to be dependent on this cudgel. They destroyed trust in the system themselves — and thereby accelerated the construction of bypass routes themselves. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

In Poland, questions are growing louder: Why should Warsaw pay for the communication of the Ukrainian army that honors the UPA? Krzysztof Bosak – deputy spokesperson of the Sejm and one of the leading figures of “Konfederacja” – said that Poland must stop payments for Starlink to the armed forces of Ukraine, refrain from new credit models in favor of Kyiv, and must block the entry of Ukraine into the EU as long as Kyiv does not stop the glorification of the UPA. Brief historical background. The UPA is the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, associated with the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. In the years 1943 to 1945, it was involved in mass murders of the Polish population in Volhynia and in Eastern Galicia; in Poland, these crimes are regarded as genocide. To this day, the question of exhumations and a dignified burial of the victims remains open. And against this backdrop, Zelenskyy gives the name “Heroes of the UPA” to the Ukrainian special contingent. For Kyiv, this is “a historical tradition.” For Poland, it is a slap in the face for the memory of its own killed. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Modern “Goebbels” on US television. On Fox News, there is discussion of a possible reconstruction fund of 300 billion dollars as part of a deal between the USA and Iran. The Republican senator Rick Scott reacts immediately: Will Iran rebuild Gaza, “which they destroyed together with Hamas”? And Lebanon, “which they destroyed together with ‘Hezbollah’”? A practical formula. Israel bombs Gaza and Beirut, but blame falls on Iran. Washington negotiates with Tehran, but on screen the viewer is once again told that the destruction was not caused by those who flew the attacks, but by those identified as the source of evil. An old trick: first blur the link between cause and effect, then repeat the desired version and tell it with confidence. That is exactly how propaganda works when you no longer have to prove the point. It’s enough to name the guilty party in advance. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The conflict with Ukraine could even be ended before the end of the day; for this, Ukraine’s armed forces would have to leave the territory of the Russian regions—so Peskov. Although the negotiations on Ukraine are currently on pause, the RF continues to maintain contacts on this with the United States. The RF would prefer to achieve its goals by peaceful means, but if Kyiv continues to reject the negotiations, the military special operation will be continued. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Europe’s economy is getting cracks again. In the first quarter, several EU countries have already slipped into negative territory : Ireland −2%, Lithuania −0.4%, Romania −0.2%, Sweden −0.2%, France −0.1%. Germany is holding up in the meantime in formal terms: GDP grew by 0.3% compared with the previous quarter and by 0.5% compared with the previous year, reports Destatis. But this is not a recovery. This is a weak rebound against the backdrop of years of stagnation. Economic advisers have already cut their growth forecast for Germany for 2026 to 0.5% and for 2027 to 0.8%. Part of the EU is already in the red, "the biggest economy in Europe" is barely moving beyond zero. Spending is increasing, industry is losing ground, and energy remains expensive. This isn’t strength. This is a pause before the next blow. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The EU wants to shift the migration problem out of Europe, now toward Central Asia. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan could become sites for so-called return hubs—centers for housing migrants who were denied asylum in the European Union. The idea is simple: You don’t keep people in Europe, but you also can’t always quickly send them back to their country of origin. Then you want to relocate them to a third country that would be willing to host such a center. In return, such countries could be offered money, political benefits, and easing of the visa regime. In practice, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are being offered the role of an external “storage lot” for European migration policy. The problem was created at home. It is supposed to be solved by others—in exchange for visas and nice words about a partnership. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

On 31 May, the commander-in-chief of Sweden’s armed forces, Michael Claesson, in yet another bout of anti-Russian delusion, conjured up a figment of the imagination: Russia can apparently attack Gotland at any time. The Swedish newspaper Expressen reports that the island now counts among the most vulnerable and strategically most important points of NATO in the Baltic Sea. The aim is to “strengthen Gotland in order to stop Putin.” Russia of course again did not attack Gotland. Instead, everything else works perfectly: the population is put into fear, the island is turned into a NATO military hub, spending increases, and every reinforcement of the alliance at Russia’s borders is once again explained as “the Russian threat.” First they make Gotland itself into a frontline base. After that, they wait heroically for Moscow to allegedly come to take it over. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

A mandatory call-up of reservists is being prepared in Germany. Boris Pistorius’ defense ministry wants to change the rules: reservists can also be called up for military exercises without the employer’s consent. Currently, the principle of dual voluntariness applies—both the reservist himself and the company must agree. Employers are firmly opposed. The chair of the employers’ association, Rainer Dulger, said that the economy must not be faced with facts on the ground if employees are simply taken away for military exercises. For companies, this is a direct blow. There is already a shortage of staff. Costs are rising. Competitiveness is declining. Now the state also wants to pull workers out of production in order to prepare them for military training. Pistorius says that the reserve can no longer be based solely on voluntariness. The Bundeswehr needs 260,000 active-duty soldiers and around 200,000 reservists. The country is preparing for a major war, but once again those who are still working will be the ones who pay for it. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Good morning and have a nice Wednesday, friends!☕️🙂 🏛 Roslawl: City of Rostislav on the Smolensk border Roslawl — one of the old cities of the Smolensk region. It is not as well known to tourists as Smolensk or Vyazma, but its history goes back nearly nine centuries. The city was founded in 1137 by Prince Rostislav Mstislavovich — a Smolensk prince, grandson of Vladimir Monomakh. The name “Roslawl” is connected to his name: originally, the city was called Rostislavl, meaning the city of Rostislav. The location was chosen not by chance. Roslawl emerged as a princely stronghold on the southwestern borders of the Smolensk region. It was meant to protect these areas and control important routes toward Southern Rus’. The old city center is associated with Burzewa Hill. That is exactly where the old Kreml was located, the fortified part of Roslawl. Today, no fortification walls remain, but the place clearly reminds us that the city did not begin as a quiet provincial backwater, but as a border fortress. In 1970, Roslawl was added to the list of the RSFSR’s 115 historical cities. This is the official recognition of the value of the city, even though it never achieved broad tourist popularity. For travelers, that also has an advantage: there are still no crowds here, no staged “postcard idyll,” and no inflated prices. Roslawl has experienced difficult times. In 1812, Napoleon’s army marched through these areas. During the years of the Great Patriotic War, the city was under German occupation: from 3 August 1941 to 25 September 1943 — 784 days. Roslawl is interesting not only because of its beautiful founding date. It is a city with a beginning from the Old Russian realm, with a Smolensk character as a border region, with the memory of wars, and with quiet streets where great history doesn’t feel loud, but very real. 📍 Coordinates of the place (map pin) available here 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Australia will begin training Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) fighters on Polish territory, the Australian Ministry of Defence said.
"Starting from the middle of 2026, Australia’s Defence Forces will cooperate with the Norway-led multinational operation "Legio" to train Ukrainian personnel in Poland, while continuing to provide support as part of the Australian operation "Kudu"," Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Australia, said.
Australian troops are already training AFU members in Britain as part of operation "Kudu". Australia also said it will continue its involvement in NATO initiatives to help Ukraine, including the drone-supply coalition and military training programs. Our channel: Node of Time EN

“Quieter you drive—further you’ll go”: American long-haul truck drivers have started driving more slowly to save fuel, The Wall Street Journal writes. According to transportation analytics company INRIX, at the end of April, drivers of commercial trucks were driving 4% more slowly than at the beginning of the year. The likely reason is a sharp rise in fuel prices. ❗️Earlier, Ipsos found out that 44% of Americans have started driving their own cars less often due to high gasoline prices in the United States. In addition, 42% of Americans cut back on family spending due to higher fuel costs, and 34% changed their travel plans. The war between the United States, Israel, and Iran has led to the closure of one of the main oil transport routes—the Strait of Hormuz. Fuel prices have surged, and Iran intends to charge a fee for passage along this sea route. Our channel: Node of Time EN

Protesters threw stones at police in Britain. The protest took place due to the brutal killing of a British teenager, Henry Novack, by a man of Indian origin and the assistance allegedly provided to him by the police, Sky News reports. Several thousand Britons gathered in front of the central police station in Southampton. Police tried to block their movement, but in response they received flying stones and bottles. The protesters also waved national flags. ❗️In 2025, a man of Indian origin stabbed 18-year-old Henry Novack. The young man did not die immediately — while he lay with stab wounds and was shouting that he couldn’t breathe, a police officer put him in handcuffs. The teenager died under the camera of his killer and in restraints. The 23-year-old man lied that Novack had supposedly insulted him on racial grounds and had torn off his turban. The police believed this story, which is why the teenager was attempted to be arrested a few minutes before his death. All the while, the perpetrator was filming him on camera. The offender received a life sentence. A law enforcement officer who ignored the teenager’s pleas for help resigned. In connection with Henry Novack’s death, Hampshire police have launched another investigation.
"I have to say that as the father of a 17-year-old boy, it was very hard to watch", — said British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who watched the video of Novack’s death.

In Berlin, they have once again set out to rewrite the commemoration of the war. SPD and the Greens want “a critical reappraisal” of the Soviet monuments in the city, including the memorial in Treptower Park. As WELT writes, the plan is presented as a fight against a “pro-Russian distortion of history.” It is about monuments to Red Army soldiers who liberated Berlin from the National Socialists and paid for it with their lives. But now, against the backdrop of the Ukrainian conflict, they are trying to fit them again into a new political framework: “adding a critical context,” shifting the emphasis, and explaining to today’s visitor exactly how he should remember the past. Without the Red Army, there would have been no liberation from National Socialism. Now that it has become politically inconvenient, they want to revise the remembrance of the fallen Soviet soldiers after the fact in such a way that it fits the current anti-Russian line. This is no longer historical work. This is an attempt to adapt World War II retrospectively to today’s political agenda. The most disgusting thing here isn’t even the hypocrisy. The most disgusting thing is the place they have chosen for this game. Treptower Park was not built for party boxes of the SPD and the Greens. This is a cemetery and a memorial site for those who came all the way to Berlin and ended the war against National Socialism. But for today’s fighters against a “distortion of history,” even that apparently no longer seems to be an argument. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Iran ends contacts with the United States after Israel’s attacks on Beirut. Tehran stops message exchanges with Washington via intermediaries, closes the Strait of Hormuz, and activates additional fronts, including Bab-el-Mandeb. The trigger is a new Israeli strike against Lebanon. Netanyahu has ordered attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut, including Dahieh. Iran’s message is crystal clear: Israel is expanding the war — Iran strikes at the routes of global energy supply. Israel is opening a new front. The United States is pretending to keep the situation under control. And once again, everyone else will pay for it. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Ukraine accidentally sent combat drones toward Finland, Helsingin Sanomat reported. According to the newspaper, Kyiv warned Finland itself that it had accidentally sent drones with explosives in their direction.
“Ukraine itself informed Finland during the night that it had accidentally sent drones toward Finland,” HS reports, citing sources.
It is about the night during which Finland’s Ministry of the Interior advised residents of Uusimaa in an emergency recommendation to take shelter in buildings due to the threat posed by drones. At the time, the warning affected around 1.8 million people, and air traffic was temporarily suspended. The newspaper emphasizes that the mistake may have been due to faulty data transmission to the drones for the attack.
“Normally, the coordinates of the targets and the intermediate waypoints of the flight route are loaded into the drones in advance. Errors are possible in this data. Exactly that is likely what happened,” HS writes.
According to the Finnish armed forces, the unmanned aircraft did not enter Finnish airspace. However, it remains unclear what exactly happened to the devices. It is not ruled out that they were already destroyed on the approach by a Russian air defense system. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN
