Yesterday federal reserves increased its benchmark interest rates by 25 basis points . Next month it most likely will increase it again by another 25 basis points . What does this mean for the US DOLLAR ? This increase in rates strengthens the currency as the fed try to keep inflation no greater than 2% but definitely causes an increase in car loans , mortgages , credit cards , stocks .
