Yesterday, somebody pulled off a huge scam in Auchi Edo State. He opened a shop and sold 50kg bags of rice valued at 55k at the rate of 20k each. He said it was subsidized by government, an initiative aimed at fighting hunger. After selling almost a hundred, news of his empowerment program traveled fast and thousands of people came out to take advantage of the opportunity. He ran out of stock said he'll be back in the morning the day with more rice and only those who booked him down will be attended to first. So over 1000 people paid 20k to enjoy this "huge subsidy" But he was nowhere to be found and all their money was gone! Over 20 million naira

Moesha Buduong has thanked Ghanaians for their love, prayers, and support during her health struggles, saying their encouragement has given her strength and hope as she recovers.

The family of Nana Agyei Oduru, a Ghanaian student who died under mysterious circumstances in Latvia, is calling on President John Mahama and the Ghanaian government to intervene and help uncover the truth behind his death. Their appeal comes after Nana Agyei’s remains arrived at the Kotoka International Airport last night. According to the family, the young student was residing in an apartment on Banicas Street in Riga, Latvia. On June 1, just days before his death, he reportedly sent a distressing voice note to relatives, claiming he had been poisoned. However, on June 4, the family was informed that he had allegedly fallen from the sixth floor of his apartment and died, a version of events they strongly reject. The family insists the circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious and does not believe it was a suicide. They are demanding a full-scale investigation into the incident and urging the president Mahama and Ghanaian authorities to ensure that justice is served.
