Six months have flown by, and we're already halfway through the year! 🗓 Time to review our P&L's up to date! How's everyone's portfolio looking? One of my biggest holdings is $ONDO. I entered at the 0.3 levels earlier this year and I remember aping in while everyone else was hopping on $Manta. I got interested because the adoption of RWA is growing, and they’re backed by Coinbase, Pantera Capital, and other big VCs. The big challenge with tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) is liquidity. For years, the RWA space focused on tokenizing assets like newly issued private credit (like uncollateralized loans for crypto traders). While it gave stablecoin holders direct access to these investments, tokenizing loans themselves didn't add much value. These assets are mostly held long-term and are too unique and hard to price for robust secondary markets, both online and offline. Because they lack liquidity in secondary markets, they're not ideal collateral for on-chain lending, derivatives, or other protocols. Currently, $ONDO is at a 1.4 billion market cap.
