👀 Today we present Sang Zi, an intriguing character in every aspect. 🤘🏽 He is Roger’s best friend as well as his work colleague. He’s Roger’s complete opposite in every way: athletic, carefree, and always up for fun. For his physical appearance, we decided to pay homage to some great artists of the past, including Katsuhiro Ōtomo. 💊 The pill on the lower part of Sang’s jacket is a tribute to Ōtomo’s Akira, and the patch with the kanji of his full name, Sang Zi, is an homage to Akira Toriyama and the costume of Goku, which also featured the word “enlightenment” on the back. ✨ All drawings and studies are by @EnricoVassallo8

🤓 Here are the character studies for another protagonist of our story: Roger Ocean. Roger is not a hunk; he's out of shape and slightly hunched as a matter of habit. Roger's physical appearance, even though he is a nerd through and through, was designed to avoid the usual clichés. 👓 He has a somewhat unkempt look that hints at a certain scruffiness combined with some elements of "past" technology, such as music headphones and glasses, despite living in a future deeply intertwined with technology. 👟 One of the few standout elements in his appearance are the sneakers, which are also a reminder of a past that may or may not have existed. 👕 On his shirt, we can see a stylized cube, an element that will recur in other situations and worlds. Can't wait to see Anna in action!!

As you know, Anna is a brave warrior, and we have designed the perfect armor for her to face the perils that await her on her journey. Here are some preparatory studies focused on Anna's mechanical arm and her equipment. ✍🏼 🦾 The mechanical arm has two containers filled with liquid that allow it to accumulate energy through sunlight. A compartment opens within the palm of the hand, hiding her weapon, which can channel and concentrate the solar energy stored in the containers to fire a laser-like beam. 💫 Additionally, there is a display to activate the arm's functionalities and monitor its charge status when Anna is not wearing the helmet. 🎒 Anna's backpack attaches to three circular "sockets," wired inside her suit. Equipped with a solar panel, it allows for additional energy accumulation to be used for the helmet and as an extra energy reserve for her weapons. 🦾 She is strong, trained, and ruthless, called to face the most hostile future imaginable: the open spaces of Y67, a world inhabited and ruled by the Shadows, where daylight is a luxury, a world shrouded in mystery where things are forgotten too quickly.
