🏴 The fact that Ji_hād against the leaders, nations, and armies of Kufr and Tughyān (transgression) is Fard-un 'Ayn (an individual obligation) on a global scale cannot be denied ... ... No sincere scholar worthy of the title would deny or conceal this ruling. Any scholar who remains silent about this urgent duty, and conceals the reality of this important obligation, either with his unjustified silence or his distortion of the related divine texts, is not only an ignorant and sinful individual, he is cursed by Allāh and cursed by the cursers: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى مِن بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ أُولَئِكَ يَلعَنُهُمُ اللّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ ﴿١٥٩﴾ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصْلَحُواْ وَبَيَّنُواْ فَأُوْلَئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٦٠﴾ "Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allāh and cursed by the cursers ﴾159﴿. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful ﴾160﴿." 🗃 Sūrah Al-Baqarah [2] Indirect speech is insufficient to exempt the scholar from the duty to convey the clear rulings that relate to Ji_hād to those in need of guidance, nor are good reputations earned from the past considered legitimate excuses for turning away from this important obligation. Let the silent scholar take heed of the above Āyatayn (two verses); let him reflect on the second Āyah in particular, as it clearly states what is required of him in order for his Taubah (repentance) to be accepted: 1. Repent 2. Do righteous deeds (أصلحوا, meaning rectify one's speech and actions accordingly) 3. Openly declare and clarify what one previously concealed. 📌 Stay tuned ... #Taubah #Ikhlās #Ji_hād #Nifāq ✍ @IslamicMonitor

﷽ The AWOL Sheikh: Giving preference to one's life over the life of Allāh's Messenger ﷺ. [ AWOL (absent without leave): A military term describing the act of being absent from one's position without being granted permission ] ... I've often wondered why many people are of the opinion that the knowledge a Sheikh carries exempts him from the obligation of performing Ji_hād. I asked a brother about a particular Sheikh who he claimed was very knowledgeable. "Why isn't he here?", I inquired. It would be a calamity for the Muslims were he to be killed, as he is "very knowledgeable," I was told. You know me and my inquisitive mind, "What kind of knowledge does this guy have that exempts him from Ji_had?" And if the possession of knowledge exempts one from the obligation of Ji_hād, why wasn't the Prophet ﷺ exempt from this religious duty? ... ﴿١٢٠﴾ It was not becoming of the people of Al-Madīnah and the bedouins of the neighbourhood to remain behind Allāh's Messenger, and (it was not befitting) to prefer their own lives to his life ﴾120﴿. 📓 Sūrah At-Tawbah [9] ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ 📌 "Giving preference to one's life over the life of Allāh's Messenger ﷺ?!" 📌 SubhānAllāh! Words cannot describe how I felt when I first pondered over this Āyah. What does that actually mean or entail in the context of Ji_hād in the cause of Allāh? Imām Al-Qurtubī provides the answer to this question, saying: وقوله تعالى : ﴿وَلا يَرْغَبُوا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ﴾ أي :لا يرضوا لأنفسهم بالخفض والدعة ورسول الله ﷺ فِي المشقة "His statement ﴾And (it was not befitting) to prefer their own lives to his life﴿, meaning, they should not be content with comfort and ease, while the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ is in hardship." 📖 Al-Jāmi' Li-Ahkāmil-Qur'ān The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ endured the hardships of performing Ji_hād, and sacrificed along with his Sahābah, may Allāh be pleased with them. The sincere and truthful inheritors of the Prophets do not neglect this noble duty ... #IslamicLaw, #Religion, #History, #Society, #Politics, #Conflict, #Worldviews, #ContemporaryMuslims, #Attitudes, #Obligations, #Accountability ✍ A Muwahhid's Worldview 👉 https://t.me/+_-sbLrWJ9XxiMjE0

📝 Indeed, the focus on secondary and subsidiary matters of the religion, which although important, is nothing short of criminal in the face of the existential threats the Ummah is currently confronted with, and the silence of the majority of her ‘scholars’ regard it. ⛔️ Those who systematically divert the Ummah’s attention away from defending itself against the attack of the enemies of Allāh are, no doubt, knowing or unknowingly, assisting those who seek to destroy Islām. 🚷 They should not be promoted, respected, or tolerated... 📜 Indeed, Imām ibn Ḥazm al-Andalusī (رحمه الله) stated that: ”ولا إثم بعد الكفر أعظم من إثم من نهى عن جهاد الكفار وبإسلام حريم المسلمين إليهم...“ “There is no sin after disbelief greater than the sin of the one who forbids others from Jihād against the disbelievers, (and by doing so) enjoins that the sanctities of the Muslims be handed over to them...” 📖 Al-Muhallā (930) #Accountability #Nifāq #DontBeFooled #Highwaymen #Know_your_Enemy #Defend #Everyone_has_a_part_to_play

📜 Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:  " اشْتَكَتِ النَّارُ إِلَى رَبِّهَا، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَبِّ، أَكَلَ بَعْضِي بَعْضًا. فَجَعَلَ لَهَا نَفَسَيْنِ : نَفَسٌ فِي الشِّتَاءِ، وَنَفَسٌ فِي الصَّيْفِ، فَشِدَّةُ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْبَرْدِ مِنْ زَمْهَرِيرِهَا، وَشِدَّةُ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ سَمُومِهَا ". “The Fire complained to her Lord saying, ‘O Lord, some parts of me consume the other parts.’ So He allowed the Fire to exhale twice; once in the winter, and once in the summer. Accordingly, the extreme cold that you experience (in winter) is a result of the Fire’s layers of frost, and the intense heat you experience (in the summer) is from the Fire’s hot winds.” 📖 Sunan ibn Mājah (4319), and the Hadīth is Sahīh (ie. authentic). 🤲🏽 O Allāh we seek Your refuge from the Fire! #WhatHaveWePrepared
