Vibe coding and the Rise of AI Agents: Transforming the Future of Work https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/vibe-coding-rise-ai-agents-transforming-future-work-brajesh-mohan-6iuuf/

World Water Day 2025: Building Water Resilience for a Secure Future Water resilience is the cornerstone of ensuring food and nutrient security. A robust water management strategy must address the needs of: 1. Irrigation for all cropped areas 2. Quality drinking water for all 3. Industrial water to support economic growth Challenges in Water Management On paper, balancing water demand with its annual rainfall seems feasible. However, the real challenge lies in spatial and temporal variations in rainfall distribution. Climate change has further intensified these challenges by causing erratic rainfall patterns and unpredictable water availability. The Way Forward To address these challenges, a two-pronged approach is needed: 1. Enhancing storage through both surface and groundwater conservation 2. Efficient water transportation via interlinking of local rivers Strategic Approach to Water Resilience 1. Water harvesting to recharge groundwater 2. Check dams and ponds to enhance surface water storage 3. Efficiency measures in agriculture through micro-irrigation and in industries through water recycling Investment & Policy Imperatives While small-scale infrastructure such as wells, ponds, and micro-irrigation systems can be driven by private investments, large-scale water infrastructure such as including major check dams, reservoirs, and river interlinking requires substantial public investment. Given fiscal constraints, the public-private partnership (PPP) model must play a pivotal role in the water sector. Developing sustainable and workable business models for water infrastructure investments is essential to ensuring long-term water resilience.

My Simple Suggestions for Success in RBI Grade B Descriptive: To score well, follow these steps consistently: ✅ Cover Your Syllabus Thoroughly – Ensure you understand all key concepts in ESI, Finance, and Management. ✅ Create One-Pager Notes – Prepare concise notes on important themes and topics from ESI, Finance and Management and your short notes should include all key point without getting into details. These should be easy to revise and refer to multiple times. ✅ Practice Answer Writing Regularly – Write 1-2 answers daily or alternative and also brainstorm on a blank paper during your free time specially in office or breaks. This means thinking about possible answers that you could have written for different questions and mentally creating a draft. ✅ Attempt Full-Length Tests – Once you get well versed with writing fringe answer, its time to Simulate the exam environment by practicing under timed conditions to boost speed and accuracy. Focus on These Four Key Areas: — Presentation: Structure your answers properly with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. Everyone loves neat and clean answers. — Grammatical & Spelling Accuracy: Avoid careless errors that may impact your score. — Relevance of Content: Write only what is asked in the question and ensure all parts of the question are addressed. — Time Management: Practice completing the paper within the allotted 90 minutes (2000 words) to ensure you can attempt all questions effectively. If you can't complete the paper then don't expect the selection, as its not 2022 anymore, only limited no of seats are there so only the best will get selected. That’s all you need to do to secure good marks. Stick to this plan, stay consistent, and success will follow! 🚀

📢 Why India has decided to abolish the ‘GoogleTax’ ? As part of the 35 amendments to the Finance Bill, 2025, the Centre wants to remove the 6 per cent equalization levy (EL) it charges on digital ads from April 1, 2025. ✅What is equalization levy By definition, an equalization levy is a levy to ‘equalise’ the tax component of a resident e-commerce company as well as a non-resident e-commerce company. — As part of the 35 amendments to the Finance Bill, 2025, the Centre wants to remove the 6 per cent equalisation levy (EL) it charges on digital ads from April 1, 2025. This has been in force since 2016, on payment exceeding Rs 1 lakh a year to a non-resident service provider for online advertisements. — This levy, colloquially called “Google Tax,” affects online advertising services provided by offshore technology firms like Google, Meta and Amazon, requiring them to withhold and remit the tax to the government. — In 2020, after amending the Financial Act, 2020, the government expanded the ambit of the equalization levy for non-resident e-commerce operators involved in the supply of services, including online sale of goods and provision of services, with the levy at the rate of 2 per cent. —However, the United States has been critical of this tax and called it “discriminatory and unreasonable” arguing that domestic companies were exempt. That led to India repealing the 2 per cent EL in 2024. However, the 6 per cent levy had continued. — In October 2021, India, the United States, and fellow members of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework agreed establishing a two-pillar approach to tackle the tax complexities posed by the digital economy’s rapid growth, aiming to create a fair and cohesive global framework. ✅Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS): —BEPS refers to tax avoidance strategies used by multinational enterprises (MNEs) to exploit gaps and mismatches in tax rules to artificially shift profits to low or no-tax locations. —This practice erodes the tax base of higher-tax jurisdictions, leading to significant revenue losses for governments. —The OECD/G20 BEPS Project aims to address these issues by establishing international tax rules that ensure profits are taxed where economic activities take place and value is created. ✅Key aspects of the BEPS action plan relevant to this discussion: — Addressing the Digital Economy: A significant focus of BEPS is on the challenges posed by the digitalization of the economy. Traditional tax rules, based on physical presence, struggle to capture the value created by digital businesses that operate across borders without a substantial physical footprint. — Ensuring Taxation Where Value is Created: A core principle of the BEPS project is that profits should be taxed where the economic activity generating those profits occurs.

How to Create Short Notes and Fodder Material for RBI Grade B Answer Writing One of the best ways to prepare for descriptive answer writing in RBI Grade B (ESI & FM) is to actively extract relevant information while reading newspapers, reports, and books. The key is to align your short notes with the Descriptive Answer writing in mind so that you can use them effectively in exams. Step 1: Memorize the Syllabus ("Cram the Syllabus") Before you start collecting notes, ensure you know the syllabus inside out. This will help you filter out unnecessary information and focus only on exam-relevant content. 📌 Example: If you're reading about RBI’s Digital Payments Report, immediately link it to "Developments in Digital Payments" (Finance Syllabus). If you come across an article on India's Demographic Dividend, note it under "Demographic Challenges & Opportunities" (ESI Syllabus). Step 2: Categorize Notes According to Syllabus While reading, create a structured note-making system that fits into the RBI Grade B syllabus. The key categories for fodder material should be: ✅ Facts & Data – Reports, Index rankings, Economic Survey data. ✅ Definitions – Standard definitions from RBI, SEBI, World Bank, IMF, etc. ✅ Examples & Case Studies – Success/failure stories of government initiatives. ✅ Government Schemes & Policies – Budget highlights, RBI initiatives. ✅ Challenges & Criticism – Structural issues, loopholes in policies. ✅ Way Forward & Solutions – Recommendations from reports & experts. ✅ Quotes & Keywords – Short impactful statements to use in introductions/conclusions. Step 3: Develop an Organized Note-Taking System Using a Digital or Physical Note System ✅Google Docs/Notion/OneNote – Easy to search and update. ✅Physical Notebook – Maintain separate sections for Finance, ESI, Management. ✅Excel Sheet – For maintaining factual data under different themes like GPD, Inflation, Population, Poverty, Unemployment, Digital Payment data etc. Collecting information is only half the battle—the real challenge is using it effectively in answer writing.
