Unfortunately people tend to market trading strategies as knowing 100% where price will go.
This usually creates a fake expectation in traders minds and then causes even further issues with psychology!
Remember Chapter 7 of Trading In The Zone: Thinking In Probabilities.
It’s your job as a trader to build a profitable edge that over a large sample size means you’re profitable.
To build that profitable edge you need data, you need to journal as much information as possible from your trades.
This has to be done consistently over a long period of time (really forever in your trading career).
Let the probability of your edge play out and when you have a truly data backed edge your confidence grows and many psychological problems disappear.
Stop trying to capture every move, stop guessing and placing random trades and start capturing YOUR move, YOUR edge and let the results begin to form!

How can you tell what your niche is?
When I first heard about trading I instantly knew this is what I wanted to do with my life.
I was enthusiastic just by the description of trading and that is the spark you need to succeed in any endeavour.
Unfortunately, people who don’t have that level of enthusiasm and really holding the money as the motivation are digging themselves a deeper hole.
A lot of the time it gets down to the amount they’ve lost or paid out that keeps them trying, when reality is they never had that spark for trading in the first place.
You must remember that without passion, without a love for the skill set you will never see any form of lasting results.
The money might be the thing that get’s you started BUT the passion and love for the markets is what keeps you in the game.
