Phase 1 Passed in about 10 Trading Days (Month since first trade). This morning I woke up we were $100 away from passing and then over 2/3 hours it kept getting close to target and back down. Even with my relaxed, not really “bothered”, swing trading approach I still had the thoughts of adding more or closing and shorting to then pass but that’s where you HAVE to stick to your plan. Doesn’t matter your position you will always have the thoughts of the “faster” & “easier” way which in reality usually aren’t. Just through experience will that voice slowly get less “loud” and less “controlling”. Another aspect that helps is having an income outside of trading that just takes the edge off. Not NEEDING to make money from the markets is a powerful position so that you can allow your plan and edge to play out. Let’s not forget this is just a challenge account and doesn’t relate to actual profits or money made in the market. I’m just sharing after taking 2 years out and knowing that alot of the community are trading challenges my thoughts, experience and feelings. My full time work and focus is the podcast and my other channels, this is just my original passion that got me time freedom first that I will always love BUT is my side hustle now. Will drop some case studies and breakdowns of trades I take in my podcast telegram channel. 🫡
