🟡 My XAUUSD expectation: slight BUY bias There is no major CPI surprise, so I would not chase the first candle. The positive point for gold is that annual inflation cooled: headline 3.5% → 3.4% and core 2.6% → 2.5%. Softer inflation can reduce pressure for tighter Fed policy, which can support gold. Gold was already trading with a bullish structure before CPI, and today’s price has been around the $4,400 area. For your trade right now: I would wait 5–15 minutes after CPI. If XAUUSD sweeps down and then gives an M1/M5 bullish CISD/CHOCH, I’d look for a BUY. If instead it breaks the pre-CPI low strongly and retests it from below, then the bias changes to SELL. So right now: 🟢 BUY bias ~60% / 🔴 SELL bias ~40%, but confirmation is important because actual = forecast across the board.
