Rosatom’s chief, Alexei Likhachev, says the company will raise ITS RUSSIAN 🇷🇺 construction workforce at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant to 200 in November, with staffing at the level the schedule requires by early 2027.
Here’s the trajectory:
• Spring 2026: 600+ Russian staff were evacuated after the US-Israel strikes began
• Early August: 25 on site
• Late August: 42 on site
• September 22: 63 on site
• November target: 200
Construction 🚧 continues on BUSHEHR Units 2 and 3, as about 2,200 IRANIAN 🇮🇷 CONSTRUCTION WORKERS had already returned back to the worksites by late May.
The original schedule had Unit 2 being finished by October 2024 and Unit 3 around April 2026.
Both hopeful dates have long since evaporated.
Unit 2: Nuclear Engineering International reports Iran has revised its target operational date to 2029.
Unit 3: The same report says its timeline is tied to Unit 2 and has been pushed into the EARLY 2030s.

📊 WHERE THEY LAND (Kan, Channel 12, i24)
• Netanyahu bloc: 50 to 55 seats
• Change bloc: 49 to 53 seats
• Arab parties: 16 to 18 seats, a RECORD
NEITHER side reaches 61 in any poll to BECOME PRIME MINISTER.
⏳ WHY THESE CAN CHANGE
The real count is just starting, and roughly 600,000 to 650,000 special ballots (soldiers, absentees and others) are counted last.
🔎 THE PATHS AHEAD…
1⃣ New elections within 90 days, with Netanyahu as caretaker.
2⃣ A minority government. It would need the Joint List to abstain, and it would depend on an Arab party.
3⃣ A unity government. Likud and Yashar plus Bennett’s party reach about 58 to 62, so tonight’s numbers make this one more likely, but it would be bumpy.
A government that takes weeks/months to form is a VERY REAL possibility.
