Before the result of 2018, no one could say that cutoff can ever go below 100. But it did! Before the result of 2021, no one could say that cutoff can ever go below 90. But it did! The cutoff in Prelims 2023 is expected to be 78 ± 2 for the general category; Given the difficulty of the paper and the Impact of CSAT paper. Candidates who have still not started their preparation for mains should start focusing on it; especially those scoring above 75. #UPSC Prelims 2023

In our assessment, the cutoff for this paper shall fall to 80, and might even go as low as 75.
