An asylum seeker who days after arriving in Ireland sexually assaulted a young woman in Dublin city centre after following her for up to half an hour as she tried to get away from him has been jailed for two years and three months. Adel Kerai (26) had arrived in Ireland just five days earlier when he saw the 22-year-old woman waiting for her boyfriend outside a shop on O'Connell Street and decided he “fancied” her, Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard.
