News from China ⭐ SPbPU and colleagues from China will establish a Center for Smart Materials and Intelligent Technologies A trilateral agreement on the establishment of the scientific and educational Center for Smart Materials and Intellectual Technologies in Hangzhou based on the ETRI was signed by SPbPU, Zhejiang Chinese-Russian Engineering Research Institute, and the Hangzhou City Government of Zhejiang province. The visit to China by an official delegation from SPbPU is a development and continuation of the government visit to the PRC by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The trip is aimed at fulfilling the relevant instructions on the development of scientific and technological cooperation between Russia and China.

Only St. Petersburg and Moscow are in the rating. 😎 ⭐ St. Petersburg with 62.9 points took 61st place ⭐ Moscow, scoring 62.5 points, was 63 positions out of 100 possible The cities were evaluated according to seven main parameters, including fame, tourist attractiveness, comfort for living, conditions for remote work and study, beautiful architecture, as well as hospitality and friendliness. Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University hosted the first festival “Africa in St. Petersburg” For the first time, Polytechnic University hosted the international youth festival «Africa in St. Petersburg». The venue for such a large-scale event was the Technopolis Polytech SPbPU Research Building. The event coincided with the 60th anniversary of Africa Day. May 25, 1963 — the day when the Organization of African Unity was founded — was declared African Liberation Day by a decision of the UN. This date symbolizes the desire of African countries to unite for independent development, peace and prosperity on the continent.
