⚡️Russian attack on Sumy Oblast kills 1, injures 7. Russian forces attacked eight communities in Sumy Oblast on June 14, killing one civilian and injuring seven, the Sumy Oblast Military Administration reported.

⚡️EU Commissioner: EU will match Russia's ammunition production in 2025. The European Union has accelerated its production of projectiles and will match Russia's production capacity in 2025, EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton said in an interview with French news outlet La Tribune on June 14.

⚡️Missile threat announced for all of Ukraine. A nationwide missile threat was announced after the Ukrainian Air Force reported the takeoff of a MiG-31K aircraft overnight on June 15, 2024. The MiG-31K is a carrier of Kinzhal ballistic missiles that Russia uses to attack Ukraine.

Ukraine war latest: Kyiv claims 'entire Russian tank company destroyed' in Donbas Ukraine's 68th Jaeger Brigade released a video on June 14 purporting to show its forces taking out an entire Russian tank company during fighting in the Pokrovsk area, in Donetsk Oblast. ⚡EU ambassadors approve starting accession talks with Ukraine on June 25. EU ambassadors agreed on the framework for the EU accession talks for Ukraine and Moldova, allowing talks to start on June 25, the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU announced on June 14.

⚡G7 warns Russia against using nuclear weapons in Ukraine. A situation where Russia would use nuclear weapons in its war against Ukraine would be "inadmissible," the Group of Seven (G7) warned in a joint statement on June 14 as the two-day G7 summit in Italy drew to a close.

⚡️Putin claims Russia has almost 700,000 soldiers fighting in Ukraine. Almost 700,000 Russian troops are fighting in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 14 while speaking at a public event with Russian military personnel.

⚡️Ex-NATO commander calls for further lifting restrictions on Ukrainian strikes against Russia. Ukraine should be allowed to use Western weapons to strike as deep inside Russia as it is necessary, including targeting power plants, Wesley Clark, NATO's former supreme commander in Europe, said on June 14. In May the U.S. allowed Ukraine to use HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, GMLRS rockets, and artillery against Russian territory near Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts. However, Washington still prohibits Ukraine from using ATACMS and other long-range U.S.-supplied weapons for strikes deeper inside Russia.

⚡Man suspected of murdering 9-year-old Ukrainian in Germany arrested in Prague. Czech police arrested a Moldovan man on June 14 under suspicion of involvement in the murder of a 9-year-old Ukrainian girl in Germany, who disappeared on her way to school on June 3.
