Recent allegations concerning the KPSC Chairman and an alleged document-forgery matter involving a family member raise serious questions that deserve a fair, independent, and transparent investigation. If such allegations are found to be true, it naturally creates wider concerns about the credibility and transparency of recruitment processes, particularly interviews where discretionary marks can significantly affect a candidate’s final selection. I personally appeared for an interview in 2017. I have also seen deserving candidates, including my close friend, missed an opportunity because of interview marks ( 200 Marks interview in 2017) Again, in the 2020 recruitment, the difference between Group A and Group B allocation was influenced by interview performance 40/50 Marks This is not an allegation against every officer, interviewer, or selected candidate. It is a demand for institutional transparency, accountability, and a recruitment system that leaves no room for reasonable doubt. Until serious allegations affecting the credibility of a constitutional recruitment institution are independently examined, the Government and concerned authorities must consider stronger safeguards and complete transparency in the interview process. Merit must be visible. Interview marks must be accountable. Recruitment must inspire public confidence. If transparency is ignored, public trust in the entire recruitment system will continue to erode—and that is dangerous for every genuine aspirant and for the institution itself.
