*Cabinet approves Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for 78 days to Railway Employees*
The Union Cabinet chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved payment of PLB for *78 days* for FY 2024-25.
✅ *Total Amount:* Rs.1865.68 crore
✅ *Beneficiaries:* 10.91 lakh non-gazetted railway employees
This PLB will be paid before *Durga Puja/Dussehra* and will cover categories like *Track Maintainers, Loco Pilots, Train Managers (Guard), Station Masters, Supervisors, Technicians, Technician Helpers, Pointsman, Ministerial Staff* and other Group 'C' staff.
💰 *Maximum payable amount per employee:* Rs.17,951/-
📊 *Performance Highlights of 2024-25:*
- Railways loaded a record *1614.90 Million Tonnes of Cargo*
- Carried nearly *7.3 Billion Passengers*
