Het ging over de uitrol van het 'smart city' concept met 'slimme lantaarnpalen' als benodigde infrastructuur (lees: China 2.0 - aldus een gemeenteraadslid). Er worden meer dan zesduizend goed functionerende lantaarnpalen de grond uitgetrokken om plaats te maken voor 'slimme' lantaarnpalen vol sensoren, antennes, en wat nog meer wat echter zeer onduidelijk is omdat tal van documenten geheim blijken te zijn! Over lantaarnpalen! En al deze data komt in handen van private bedrijven. Wauw. Ik vond de avond een waar spektakel! 💥 Mensen die uit het hart spraken via het burger-inspreekrecht ❣️, ambtenaren die vervolgens niet wisten waar ze het zoeken moesten en ongemakkelijk de schone schijn ophielden 😱; het was net alsof ik naar een film zat te kijken 🍿. Ook de spanning (en sensatie) was voelbaar. Getriggerde ego's, hartstochtelijk gepassioneerde speeches, met de bril die ik anno 2024 op heb voelde het voor mij ook als een mega grote spirituele exercitie waar ik front row getuige van was. It was about the rollout of the 'smart city' concept with 'smart lampposts' as the necessary infrastructure (read: China 2.0 - according to a municipal councilor). More than six thousand well-functioning lampposts are being pulled out of the ground to make way for 'smart' lampposts full of sensors, antennas, and more, which is very unclear because many documents appear to be secret! About lampposts! And all this data ends up in the hands of private companies. Wow. I thought the evening was a true spectacle! 💥 People who spoke from the heart through the right of citizen participation ❣️, civil servants who then did not know where to look and awkwardly kept up appearances 😱; it was like watching a movie 🍿. The tension (and sensation) was also palpable. Triggered egos, passionately passionate speeches, with the glasses I am wearing in 2024, it also felt like a huge spiritual exercise to me that I witnessed from front row.
