✅Gs-2 : IR- Red sea issue 🅾️This is very important for interview as well as prelims- The article discusses the maritime security crisis in the Red Sea region, where international shipping lanes are threatened by attacks from Houthi rebels in Yemen. The situation has significant implications for global trade and India's economy, as India relies on these routes for energy supplies and commercial trade. 🅾️For India to address this challenge, the article suggests a proactive naval strategy, highlighting the need for continued naval presence and possibly international cooperation to secure shipping lanes. ✅Gs-3 : Inclusive growth- DBT 🅾️Context of this article :Explains the Rationale and effectiveness of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) - It also addresses the criticism that such schemes create dependency, by citing examples from the Global South which show that cash transfers can lead to positive development outcomes 🅾️Overall, the article defends DBT schemes as pragmatic short-term solutions for poverty alleviation, necessary until the conditions for "teaching a man to fish" — that is, sustainable long-term development — are in place. ⚠️However read this article : Direct Benefit transfer- considered to be an antidote to corruption is also being distorted by the officials-Can be quoted as an example in issues concerning DBT ⚠️VK IAS subject wise channels - Click here

A general note to candidates giving interviews : ➡️There is a trend of people looking at Interview transcripts/ carrying out speculations on how boards function, while in reality it can be completely taken out of context - The questions depend on the conversation and do not take the CA questions out of context- context is everything- you can share your interview experiences here if you are comfortable- No personal data will be asked- https://forms.gle/RfWyk6sxkpNSWXes6 If anyone wants to discuss their interview you can leave a message on @vk_ias

✅Gs-3 : Mobilization of resources- Fiscal deficit 🅾️This is a very special explainer article- Something that every aspirant must understand. 🅾️In simple terms, the global economy is unbalanced with some countries having much more debt than others, and the situation is made more complex by factors like the COVID-19 pandemic and the unique role of the U.S. dollar. These imbalances can affect how countries can borrow and invest internationally, and can lead to financial stress, especially in less developed regions. ✅Interview insight 📍Interview is a reflection of your life's journey. The path to Dholpur house is different for everyone. 📍The choices that you make are not supposed to be defended- defence comes from insecurity- there is no need to be insecure of who you are as you can't control what had already happened. 📍Interview is based on your DAF( not necessarily always- it depends on the age , number of attempts and other factors sometimes) because that is a way to get insight into your journey and the maturity you display 📍So current affairs is not just about collecting information and presenting it- they would rather have an automated bot collect and give them that information - interview is about being human- a good mix of emotional awareness and logical exposition is needed which is checked through your answers. ✅ So it is important to have a road map- Document your journey and all the possible questions at one place and execute the plan before you even think of any mock. https://t.me/+jJzCRiT91qk3YzBl

Updates 📍Regarding Interview mentorship - Some clarifications ⚜️1. Your DAF is a starting point for the interview panel to initiate a conversation- It SHOULD NOT be your autobiography ⚜️2. Your hobbies and interests should not be MANUFACTURED- they should be something that you ACTUALLY did in your life till now. ⚜️3. UPSC interview board member's background is immaterial- Why?- I explained last year- Click here ⚜️4. Your biggest road blocks in interview are your insecurities. You have no option but to address them ⚜️5. Your lifestyle choices should also be factored in for Service selection- Click here ➡️Interviews can be game changers for some folks- Click here to see how! 📍Regarding Prelims mentorship program - Watch this video- and then you may consider joining this program- Click here

⚠️Update on Mains results of VK IAS ➡️This year VK IAS had 30 students under the mains 2023 batch- However some of them could not follow the program either due to their personal commitments . secondly, some of them were following multiple plans they could not cope with the FOMO as discussed in this video https://youtu.be/btrKPOXSg3k ➡️However, out of the 19 folks who followed the program completely or atleast till 70%- 13 of them cleared the exam which includes 2 first time aspirants who just followed every instruction to the tee. ⚠️ The point I was trying to make is undistracted focus on a plan that you believe in will give you results- I am not disclosing their names yet to avoid unnecessary pressure for them but hopefully they would clear this interview too🙂 📍There were others, who genuinely worked hard but couldn't make it- only the marks can help me understand why. But It is not the end of the road. ➡️There are some personal learnings too which made me realise that it would Impossible to get rid of this FOMO which is UNIVERSAL now- That is the reason for making this video to put out my thoughts and maybe trigger an introspection for some really deserving candidates who are victims of this issue- https://youtu.be/btrKPOXSg3k - I urge all the aspirants to have a well thought out plan which is practical and in alignment with the exam needs- but not any test series- If it helps, have a personal mentor or a senior who can help you and it HAS to be someone who is aware of the exam and ALSO your mindset because not everyone looks at the same material in same way. 🔰 In the end, you are the master of your fate, mentors can only be a guiding light. Without your faith in the process, it would mean nothing- So thanks to the 13 folks who trusted me and VK IAS team- and the rest 6, you are not alone- Though i intend to have personal calls, I am going to give you your personal space to cope- You trusted us, so you are not alone!- This is a promise we intend to keep 📍Also those who need help with their interviews, feel free to reach out to us - it has been a game changer for many - for example : ⚜️1.
